Apartment is in a great location and is close to to major subways, Central Park, Museum of Natural History, Lincoln Center, etc. It is very easy to get to pretty much anyplace in Manhattan from this apartment. There are tons of restaurants just outside the door too. We traveled with our family of young adults, 10 yr old, and 8 yr old, so we had a wide range of ages. We all felt safe in the neighborhood and the apartment was comfortable with a full size fridge, stove, oven, and a great apartment sized dishwasher.
There are a couple of things I wish had been better...the washer/dryer combo (need a separate dryer), more towels (since the washer/dryer combo didn't work so great), and better internet (my husband could stay connected, but my older sons and I could not - which prevented me from getting some work done).
We had a little issue with the apartment building's interior door, but Nadav came over and helped us with that. And once we got used to the lock itself, it was easy! All these older apartments have some type of 'personality' of their own...and this was it!
One of the coolest things that happened is that a regional street fair happened to be on the street on Sunday, and my family had so much fun walking through it! Great smoothies and corn on the cob!
All in all, the location is awesome, the apartment was great for our family, and we had an excellent time! I am really glad we decided to great this place and we would do it again!
