This modern, architect-designed apartment is located in an elegant brownstone two blocks from Central Park and the Museum of Natural History. Newly-renovated with high-end details and elegant decor, it is a chic, warm yet comfortable city retreat.

What really sold us on this apartment though were the stunning sunsets and cityscape views from the roof deck flower garden. Have some wine and cheese overlooking a 360-degree breathtaking swath of Manhattan above a sea of Upper West Side brownstones. With the sun setting over the Hudson River, a tiny plane traces an arc of blue sky as a thousand twinklings begin to appear before you, each li...Read more

Additional Location Information

The Upper West Side is a quiet, cultural version of Downtown with shopping, museums, theater, music, restaurants, opera, ballet, street fairs, and wonderful Central Park, but more residential. We love walks in Central Park just two blocks away. The 843 acres of The Park is so beautiful in every season but especially when all the tree blossoms are blooming white, pink, red & yellow, or when the leaves are changing colors in fall. Breathtaking and historic.

Nearby buses, subways, and taxis make it easy to get anywhere in the City and there is free parking to be had for the sporting and plenty of parking garages as well.

As the sun goes down, we love to eat at the open air Boat Basin Cafe on the Hudson River and take in all the kaleidoscopic shades of light in its silver ripples.

Smoke Jazz is a favorite neighborhood place for world class jazz. Cotta on 85th is our favorite local Pizza and that's certified by my wife, Karina who grew up in Roma.

Every now and then we get dressed up for the Opera (a 10-minute walk) at the Met or the Philharmonic next door at the incredibly-renovated Lincoln Center. Note: we have special 'native tricks' at discounted Orchestra! Seats.

Our nephews and nieces love The Museum of Natural History - just 2 blocks away - and learnex about it from the Ben Stiller picture, 'Night at the Museum' but is still as amazing for adults as it is for children.

Other features:
• Quiet street in a safe, fantastic neighborhood, Manhattan's Upper West Side filled with stores, restaurants, music, dance and theater.
• Walking distance to Lincoln Center and the Metropolitan Museum of Art
• Elevated First floor
• Internet Wifi
• Impressive library
• Air conditioning
• Lots of light with a southern exposure
