Description from the owner

Live like a New Yorker in our little hideaway from the hustle and bustle of Greenwich Village! And enjoy free continental breakfast at a nearby cafe as part of your stay.

Our charming duplex is the top two floors of our B and B, on a one-block street just off famous Bleecker Street. (The other apartments are totally separate from ours). Our living area has cozy living room with working fireplace, a bright kitchen with dining table and a full bath with shower and loads of light. There is also a little playroom off the main room and a tiny side yard with eating spot and grill. Upstairs is a Parisian-style apartment with deeply sloping...Read more

      Home in the Village!

Left on 12/15/2010 for a stay in November 2010

We stayed here with my two sons for a long and wonderful weekend this fall. It is a funky Village apartment, extremely spacious compared to a hotel, and so homey because it is the owner's regular apartment. The location is unbelievable, right in the heart of the Village and very near every possible form of transportation to the rest of the city. You also get breakfast at Doma Caf? and cleaning almost everyday as part of the price. And for us it was wonderful to have all the toys for our kids, a regular full kitchen, and just a feeling of home, including sitting around the fire after a long day tromping around the city. Price also very reasonable for the size of the space and the location. It is really nicely decorated in an old Village style. It wouldn't be right for people who want a fancy pristine hotel; it is an old brownstone building and is more like staying in a friend's place. But for us it was largely because of this place that we had such a wonderful New York experience, and we would highly recommend it.
