Our condo is the best... of the best and the nicest and best equipped with really great Manila bay and city views, so relaxing watching the ships going across the bay. Our condo is on the sub pethouse floor and as such there are only 2 unit on the entrie floor so it is very private and quiet. We offer so many features. Our rates include all costs and charges like electric, water, DSL Internet connection either cable or WYFI , phone for free local calls, wall safe for your piece of mind, 2 TV's connected to 60 cable channels which is just great for the kids, A full kitchen with full stove ,full size 2 door fridge/freezer, rice cooker, toaster, microwave oven . A great swimming pool overlooking Manila bay complete with a fully equipped gym and sauna. Laundry on site. Close by is the Star city theme park with some very thrilling rides all at a flat price good for the full day or night, one block to the manila zoo ,only 900 meters to Robertson Shopping mall . Or a short taxi ride to the biggest shopping Mall in Asia " The Mall of Asia" This place is huge it even has a an public ice skating rink.

By day, Malate is a commercial zone, with malls, Shops theme parks and Zoo. Visit the Cultural Center of the Philippines to see exquisite Philippine exhibits and artifacts, or breathe in history at the ancient walled city of Intramuros. Walk along Luneta Park and see where national hero Jose Rizal

was shot dead, or the breathtaking 20-foot-high gilded brass Lapu-Lapu statue. Tour Fort Santiago for a taste of Spanish influence – be sure to stop by the Wow!   There's potential...

  From the moment I contacted the owner, we recieved good communication and help. On arrival of the building we sat in the lobby for about 20minutes where we felt quite safe (there is security guards on reception). We were then showed up to the condo which was reflected well by the pictures on this site.
  The condo was equipped with handy things such as an iron and board, hair dryer, safe and scales, however I found that there was a lack of space for women. A dressing table would have come handy for my make up and cosmetics and the only mirrors were the bathroom and one in the lounge, an all length mirror was needed really.
  On the first night my husband poured us a glass of water from the water bottle to find it tasted very unpleasant. We had to then make a late night trip to the supermarket for water and a bar of soap for the bathroom. We were both lying on the living room couch at 3am with terrible stomachs. This was our 11th day in the Philippines and had been fine until that point. We felt unwell for the remainder of our holiday. Maybe the last residents had replaced the water with tap water? This isn't the owners fault but when being told about this, a reply or an apology would have been nice.
  The condo was neat and tidy but the floor was very dirty and it was quite dusty. Brushing our feet off before getting in bed or sitting on the couch became quite a nuisance.
  The view from the condo was better than expected, there is a great view over the bay and Manila especially at night when it is lit up. The balcony is too small to sit out on, not a problem if you dont intend to. It brings in some great natural light into the bedroom through the patio doors but the door from the lounge to balcony is small so there isnt much natural light in there. There are plenty of spotlights to compensate for this tho.
  The building itself is on a small side street so if you feel unsafe and uneasy easily, its not for you. However, it feels like a safe road and doubt you will have any problems. Be aware that there wasn't many taxi drivers that knew where the building or street was so it is handy to know near by big hotels that they may know or have a print off map. There is a supermarket and chowking (fast food) restaurant a short walk away.
  Noise was an issue at night, there is a busy main road not too far away which affected our sleep at night. We kept the fan on high to try to mask most of the noise. There is also a bright blue light that shines on you from the air con, maybe we didnt know how to switch that off without switching the whole system off? but that woke us up sometimes.
  One morning whilst my husband and I were in bed wearing next to nothing we heard somebody in the kitchen. The lady who comes to change the towels had helped herself in at 10am!
  The bed was extremely comfortable and having cable TV in both the lounge and bedroom was great. The wifi worked great and was very handy.
  On our last day we were at a loose end as our check out time was midday and our flight 11pm. The owners had very nicely given us advice on checking our luggage in at the mall of asia and going to the entertainment there until it was time to leave. Knowing we would be staying at the condo until as late as possible, the cleaner once again had tried to let herself in at 11.30! This time we had pulled the bolt across! When my husband answered the door she asked what time we were leaving. We felt very rushed out.
  All-in-all, the stay here was OK, but has lots of potential. I would be happy to pay £30-£35 a night to stay here.
