This beautiful cottage is on a private dead-end road that is close to 1 km long with only 6 cottages on it. If you are looking for a get-away, this is it. Lots of trees and open bush around the cottage lets you enjoy nature at its finest.
The cottage is located on Tennants Point Trail on the shore of Lake Kagawong, Manitoulin Island. Manitoulin is located at the north end of Lake Huron and can be reached by car either by the swing bridge in Little Current or the 130 car ferry at South Bay Mouth (Tobermory).The island is 100 miles long and 40 miles wide so there are a lot of country roads to travel on and visit.

My husband and I have stayed at The annex every year since 2007. The cottage is very well maintained and the owners are always willing to provide whatever you may require during your stay. All you need to bring is bedding, food and the essentials for having a fantastic time.
It is a very quiet area, close to the village of Kagawong and all its wonderful shops. The town of Mindemoya is only a short drive away where you will find a very good grocery store and all the amenities you may need while on the island. The lake is great for swimming and you can rent a boat and motor from the owners in order to take advantage of the excellent fishing. This location faces west and you can view some spectacular sunsets from the dock in the evenings.
Whether you want to sit by the shore and relax, play a game of badminton in the back yard or roast some marshmallows by the fire you will truly enjoy this quaint and cozy cottage. There are three decks to choose from on all sides of the cottage with a propane bar-b-q on one of the decks where you can prepare a delicious meal to suit your taste.
There really isn't anything we don't like about The annex; we love the cottage, the amenities and the entire area. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.
