Conway, ARGreat place to stay!
Left on 11/02/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mansfield Woods. Barb & Pop were as welcoming as anyone could ever ask for, they even let us use their personal fishing poles when they learned that we had forgotten ours! The cabin was clean and comfortable, quiet and serene. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit the Mansfield area.

Denison, TexasCute Little Cottage in the Woods
Left on 07/09/2012 for a stay in April 2012
This was a cute little cottage in the woods. The location is fantastic-just minutes away from Laura Ingles Wilder Museum. The innkeeper was very helpful and gave us a good hint on a vegan place to eat. Very Clean, Very Private, Very Quiet. Great little place for a get-a-way. The innkeeper has a large variety of movies and books to read while you're here.

Long Beach, CAClean and comfortable cabins
Left on 05/15/2012 for a stay in April 2012
We came to Mansfield to see the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum which is less than 1/2 mile from the cabins. The cabins are very clean and well-stocked with dishes, linens, etc. Barbara, the owner, was very friendly and gave us tips on other things to see and do in the area. We made steaks on the BBQ on the deck and enjoyed watching the deer and birds while we ate. We walked through the woods and enjoyed the peace and quiet. This is a very nice place to stay.

IowaExcellent Hosts/Quaint Cabins!
Left on 03/28/2012 for a stay in March 2012
You won't find nicer hosts. They bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The cabin was fun! It was clean with several special features. The kitchenette includes dishes, a toaster, microwave and regular sized refrigerator. We especially enjoyed the deck with a table and super nice grill. The location of the cabins is far enough off the road that you don't hear the traffic. The cabins sit in the woods and the view is so nice from the deck. Don't miss the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum just across the road. Give yourself a few hours to tour the whole museum. Baker Creek Village is great too. It's not far from Mansfield. Since the cabins are close to each other, it would be great fun to get a group of people and rent all the cabins at the same time. Try Mansfield Woods. My family of 3 loved it!

Yes, we have a lot of groups and families that travel together and like to be together but have some privacy also.
Thank you again.

So nice...So quiet!
Left on 10/12/2011 for a stay in August 2011
My 2 daughters and I ( not teenagers, 20 and 30yo) stayed enroute to Wyoming. Picked this as a place to unwind and see the Laura Ingalls Wilder homested. A wonderful stop and we wished we could have stayed more than one night. Make sure that you are not expecting 100% perfect accomadations..it is a bit run down and the cabin we stayed in was really only for 1 or 2..I slept on the couch, which really needs to be replaced. The ambiance is what you're paying for. Barb ( or Kate I can't remember which ) was terrific and stopped in to check on us. A tip: The road is a bit roug going up the hil...ride your vehicle on the middle raised area..you can bottom out!

These cabins are absolutely charming. This is a great place to stay. The scenery is gorgeous. The staff is caring and friendly. I could not ask for a more relaxing vacation. It's so peaceful and quiet, but very close to many attractions and historical sites. Perfect!
