This was our second trip to Pirates Cove and both experiences were above our expectations. The rentals are warm,inviting offering many amenities, cleanliness, and beautiful views. It truly felt like a great escape without having to take a plane trip to a faraway destination. There is plenty to do for active people and enough to keep the couch potato in a cozy and warm retreat. The beaches are clean and everyone is very friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

Second time in three years staying at BV #1124 and hoping to come back next Summer. Family of five plus dog and had more than enough room for the week and all the creature comforts necessary for a great vacation.
Once you are out sitting on that deck and taking in the beautiful views the stress just goes away.
Cannot fault Pirates Cove or this Condo, will be back! -

We've rented this condo 3-4 times because we love the view & master bath.
Unfortunately, the washer worked only 1 out of 5 tries. When we stayed in this unit 2 years ago, it was not working properly then! It's very frustrating when you have wet bathing suite & towels not to be able to wash them. I'm not sure we would rent here again if it's not fixed or replaced.
And, although there were 50 glasses and 3 sets of dishes, there was not one inch of space in the kitchen for our supplies. -

This is our 4th time staying at Pirates Cove. Our original attraction to this resort was it was pet friendly. After staying here once we fell in love with the views from the decks, the care of the property, the security and the friendliness of the staff.
This was our second year at BV 1124 which is a beautiful unit on the sound . It is very well stocked with everything you need for a great vacation. It has an awesome master bath with a shower you can not beat!! Another plus is this unit has covered parking which is wonderful in July when we visit.
The only slightly negative thing I could say is the master bedroom does not have a kingsize bed. When you are used to sleeping in a kingsize bed, it is hard to sleep in a smaller bed. We have stayed at this condo before. The location is excellent and condo is very comfortable. I appreciated that condo is pet-friendly. Unfortunately, the previous pet must have had fleas. Apartment was infested. My friend turned out to be allergic and developed multiple large, inflamed, infected red welts. We spent 1/2 day at an urgent care center. We and our dog had to find somewhere to go for hours while condo was exterminated. On the positive side, maintenance people were very responsive.

This is a beautiful 3 bedroom condo in Buccaneer Village. The unit was very clean and exceptionally decorated. Because it is an end unit, the area was very quiet and the view of the sound and the canal was perfect! The third bedroom, with windows overlooking the canal was a great place to watch the boats go in and out of Roanoke Sound. The condo had nice, thick mattresses and comfortable furniture. We especially enjoyed the new, renovated bathrooms with marble countertops and all new fixtures. We also love that this unit is pet friendly and our dog, Bailey, loved the views of the sound and playing in the water behind the building! This was the second year we've stayed in this unti and will definitely be back. The service at Pirate's Cove was, as usual, exceptional. We had an excellent stay in BV1124!

This is a great dog friendly, end unit with wonderful views of the sound. Both bathrooms have been recently updated. Amenities include a new washer and dryer, three flat screen TVs and wireless internet access. Looking forward to revisiting this unit in the future!
