My family had a great time at this rental. The location was fantastic and we were able to get everywhere in a short amount of time and avoid the traffic in the Outer Banks. Will try and return in the future.

Our family returned to this condo for our second year just 2 weeks ago. Pirate's Cove is very family oriented and friendly. This is our home away from home and we plan to return again next summer. It is close enough to the areas we visit each year, without being in the bustle of the main roads. Our son could fish, and crab while meeting other kids while we relaxed on the patio. We have met so many nice people, both vacationers and owners. We will never stay outside of Pirate's Cove again!

Enjoyed the condo. Well equiped and very clean. A/C worked well. Comfortable beds. Kids enjoyed having cable tv, internet access and Roku.

great location nice condo great people all willing to help only issue i had was the air conditioning on the night we arrived did not work and no one could come till the next morning, joe the maintenance director found the problem in about 3 minutes and it was fixed but i still had to endure a terribly hot evening with no reimbursement offered the good part of it all was that joe told us a bunch of great places to eat and each one was better than the next so thank goodness for broken air conditioning or i would never have met joe maybe they should have offered a credit inthe store or something like that for my discomfort overall all a great place to stay i will highly recomend it and will probably go back again soon

The grounds were nice even though a hurricane (Irene) had just passed through. Lots of clean up was still ongoing, but everything except the jacuuzi was open, that was pretty impressive. Though not on the beach or right in town, everything is very close by. The views of the sound were beautiful. My favorite thing of all is the large private balcony.

Our condo had everything we needed and more. Since retirement, we have been able to travel in the fall and our vacation expenses are cut in half. My husband would fish in the mornings and I would do a daily walk up to Ballast Point. I wore my pedometer and it's three miles if you walk from the Bucaneer#6 out to Ballast Point and back around to the security gate. On our rainy day, we were able to use the fitness center. Great vacation even though it went too fast.
