We enjoyed our stay in this well equipped condo. Especially enjoyed the balcony with the great view. We were also pleasantly surprised with the big screen TV. Great that linens were supplied. (Maybe a little fabric softener in the towel wash would help the lack of softness.) Condo was very clean (only complaint that there was some dust under the utility door closet.) Overall, a very, very pleasant stay.

My family recently stayed in Bv833. We found the condo to be nicely furnished, clean, quiet, and offering nice views of the sound. The Pirate's Cove staff was friendly and helpful, and the rental process was easy. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

The condo was in a great location. The size was perfect for a couple, but the furniture and style were outdated. Carpet was stained and dirty and needs to be replaced. Dining room/living room were to crowded. If it was updated it would be a awesome place.

The check-in was very easy. They were waiting outside with a folder with the keys and we were able to get in the condo right on time. The condo was great, with all the necessary items. The elevator made for easy unloading of our groceries, luggage, etc. The activities at the clubhouse/pool were great for my nieces! A very family friendly place. Would definately stay her again and would recommend it to friends.

We could only spent two nights but absolutely loved everything about this condo. The kitchen had everything you would need, the furniture was very comfortable -- even had a big screen TV. It was just my husband and me but it is the perfect arrangement for two couples -- both bedrooms had king size beds and access to their own bath. Definitely hope we can return at the end of the summer. The elevator sure made checking in and out easy and was an added goody. My only suggestion would be to add a high-bar table with 2-4 chairs on the deck so you could eat outside and take in the fantastic view. Otherwise, everything was perfect as it was.

We visited Pirates Cove the week of the 2011 Billfish Tournament, lots going on that week with activities for the entire family. The condo was great, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We have already reserved a condo for next year.

I/we totally loved everything about our vacation. From the very nice & friendly staff to the condo we stayed in. I ran every morning along the boat ramps, very peaceful & enjoyable. The cost of our condo was very affordable, I have shared our vacation picutres w/many of my friends!! Everyone agreed what a nice condo & complex Pirates Cove is. We/I hope to return in 2010!!! The view from this condo is beautiful as well as the deck and furnishings. The
kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals; however, was not that clean.
the counter was "greasy" and dusty. The bedrooms were nice and comfortable.
Everyone had their own bathroom and privacy. The toilets were cleaned upon
arrival, but not the entire bathroom. The big screen TV was a great surprise
and the cable worked great. The carpet needs cleaning or replacing.
We loved the resort -- perfect in every way with lots of things to do and
beautiful grounds.

The condo at Pirates Cove Marina was perfect for a week long get-away. It was spotlessly clean and convenient to so many things to do and good places to eat, yet tucked away from all the hustle and bustle. The view from the patio was fantastic, overlooking a canal as well as the Albemarle Sound. I look forward to returning again.

We usually rent a large oceanfront home in Nags Head, but this year we rented the condo because our grown children had used up all of their vacation time. My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing week, and we loved the atmosphere at Pirate's Cove. Everyone was so friendly, and the condo was even nicer than I had expected. It was bright and colorful, decorated in my favorite colors of blue and yellow. We are thinking or returning in Sept. after the birth of our first grandchild! The location was close to the beach and most of our favorite restaurants. Many thanks to the owner for letting us enjoy their condo.

This was a great alternative to renting a house since it was just my husband and I vacationing instead of the whole family. The view of the sound was great and it was convienient to our favorite restuarants and the outlet mall. The condo was stocked with everything we needed for the week (sheets, towels, etc.) We would definately stay here again in the future.
