We had a great time at Pirate's Cove. My only problem was loose towel racks in the bathrooms, which should be an easy fix. My daughter also left a movie in the DVD player and that was not returned as promised. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we may decide to return again next year. This year it was for a wedding, so I must say we were much too busy preparing for that to enjoy all that you had to offer.

Great House! Very Clean. Nice layout. Quiet and close to the pool and fitness center. We have been to Pirate's Cove at least 8 times now over the past 12 years. This house is near the top of our list and we will definitely rent it again sometime. The only disappointment we had was no wi-fi. It's amazing how much you use that. Hopefully, that will be an improvement next time we go down to the Outer Banks.

We enjoyed staying in this home for our vacation this year. We loved that dock space was available directly behind the house as we enjoyed fishing each day. This property isn't far from the pool either which is well maintained. Pirate's Cove is a short drive to the beach, restaurants, and shops.

I like the view of the canal from this house especially at night. I was also convenient for my kids to just walk out and do some fishing. Also, the house itself if clean and the layout was good. The house didn't have Wifi and it was my fault for not checking and I really needed wifi for that week. Other than that there were a few little things that needed fixing that would have required me to call the front desk but I was too lazy. Other than that I would go back if they add Wifi.

The house was very well located in proximity to the community swimming pool, tennis courts, and playground. Two drawbacks were parking and WiFi. Everyone staying with us likes to stay connected, and we had to go to the rental office to go online. And the driveway was not wide enough to allow the parking of one car and the exit of another car around it. So with three cars and several adults we were playing musical cars more than we would have liked.
But overall it was a very pleasant stay and a very successful vacation. The Pirate's Cove Rental organization was very professional and helpful. And we loved being on the canal with the ability to dock a boat right outside. there were only a few things that i think need improvement. there was not a single roll of toilet paper in the whole house. we did not check in till after hours and had to go back out to the store to get some. also there was not a dish washing cloth or basic cleaning supplies. i own a house cleaning business and i was surprised that there was not cleaning supplies so that i could wipe counters and Windex stove after every use. i swept floors daily and ran the vacuum every other day. my thought is even though i am on vacation i treat your property like it is mine for the week.

The service we received was good. The house was nice but needed paint and cleaner furniture. The couch was so stained I had to put a blanket over it. The location was nice on the canal. The area of Manteo was the best and the house cleanliness was the worst.

We had 10 people in our group, 4 boys from 17-21, and two 12 year old girls along with us 4 adults and we all enjoyed the house immensely. The location is perfect for all we enjoy doing~Oregon Inlet Beach and Coquina Beach. The girls loved crabbing off the the dock and we all enjoyed walking along the docks and mornings on the deck. (The sun sets in the back so the mornings are shaded.) The fitness center was also a plus for my son who's a high school football player, and the pool was close enough we felt comfortable letting them walk alone. The only drawback is no internet but its easy enough to drive to the office and sit in the lot. Also, the washer washes so gently we didn't think it was working...could use replacing but we have no complaints! We plan on using this house again next year!

We had a great time... the house was very nice. Two things need attention - the front door lock is difficult to operate and there is some rot happening under the rear windows.

Beautiful roomy beach home in gated community. We stay at this home every year and just love it! The view from the deck is relaxing and peaceful. On a clear day you can see all the colors in the sky at sunrise and sunset.
