Just driving into Pirates Cove we knew it was going to be a vacation to remember. The Kids were loved the space in the house. The house was very clean and ready for us to move right in. Very close to all the activities of the Outer Banks. We will probably be back.
electonics in the house were very dated if you plan on watching tv or movies in the house. We didn't mind to much other stuff to do.

This was a wonderful community and house that the whole family enjoyed. We had family members ranging from 5 to 80 years of age and they all enjoyed their stay. The boat slip was an added advantage that my husband loved because he could bring our own boat. The only drawback was the outdated televisions, but we really didn't spend much time watching them anyway. Overall, great experience.

From the moment we walked in the door we were ready to stay forever. The house was incredible. Clean, well maintained, comfortable. We could have just stayed in the home for the entire vacation. Our only complaint was the cover for the hot tub was so heavy. A lighter cover or a lifting mechanism would have been appreciated. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful! Hope to stay there again!

This is a nice home and great soundfront location in Pirates Cove. The home was clean and well-equipped. There were bicycles and fishing poles provided. The only downfall was the a/C unit on the 3rd and 4th level was broken prior to our arrival but property manangement failed to mention it to us at check-in and we nearly suffered heat exhaustion for 3 days of our stay. We then were provided with noisy window units for upstairs and were told the a/C unit would be repaired the next day when the part arrived. Evidently the part did not arrive because we endured the noisy units the entire stay and the indoor thermostat was reading at 82 degrees.

A great family house (there are 7 of us).
Well appointed and clean. However the dock was in pretty bad shape, but we still used it and enjoyed it mornings and evenings. Unfortunately we were the last renters to be allowed pets at the house, so we will not rent it again unless that changes.
