Gig Harbor WaEpic way to visit Costa Rica

Your villa was even better than your web site shows it.
The Teak woodwork and floors reminded us of a luxury yatch. The view and sound of the surf are great! We all enjoyed the sunsets from the master suite lani as well as from the main floor.
Three of us couples shared your villa, plus we let our nephew use the bedroom by the garage. For two of the nights we had another of our family stay. The house took the group well.We were in the country for a family wedding (which was perfect).
The pool was used daily. It was cool to experience the jungle (monkeys, lots of birds, kukamugis, even iguanas
Hota and his family made our stay very carefree. The house was always immaculant, the cooking was tasty and healthy.
Your package is a great value!

Benton City, WashingtonAmazing experience in Costa Rica

Your beautiful home was the best vacation we have ever had. Hota and his family
are amazing! The house was indeed beautiful, but without Hota it would not be
quite the same. They took such good care of us. They left no stone unturned
during our stay at Villa La Macha. Our wish was their command. Hota sat with our family every morning giving us suggestions as to the many different activities in the area. He would then make appointments for us and we all enjoyed everything he set up for us. He also would go over our menu to make sure we were getting whatever we wanted to eat. Never have we been so waited on and every need taken care of. The house was so comfortable too. We relaxed and were able to enjoy each other to the fullest. There were 12 of us and all family. Some of us from California and some from Washington state and we were never in each others way...the house is designed so that we had as much privacy as we wanted yet could enjoy one another without ever feeling we were intruding. The food was wonderfully and deliciously prepared, the house was kept spotlessly clean and our laundry done for all of us every day. The views of the ocean and surrounding jungle was the best we have ever seen. The monkeys visited often and the sloth who lives in the tree right off the deck made an appearance everyday. There were a couple of Iquana's that enjoyed our presence too. What a way to relax. My husband and I most definitely plan to come back again. Thank you Villa La Macha, Hota and family, we will never forget you. Larry and Jeannie Howell -

Nevada City, CAGreat house, better staff!!

We had an amazing stay at Villa La Macha! The house was beautiful and well kept. The staff, especially Jota, did everything possible to make our stay special! All of us actually decided we would miss Jota as much as Costa Rica! There were plenty of things to do, and you didn't even have to leave the house to see monkeys. Definately would recommend to anyone.

The house and the staff were wonderful. We had a great time relaxing, enjoying the view, and doing excursions around the area. The beach cove was a bit of a hike to get to (steepness, not distance), but totally worth it. With the staff cooking, cleaning, and helping with arrangements, it made our vacation truly relaxing.

Washington, D.C.We loved it and would definitely come back again.

This was a fabulous house! The service was great. We were concerned at first about the lack of air conditioning, but the house was so fantastic architecturally that it actually made for a more authentic stay. We had the staff cook the meals and they were excellent! We had a large group, nine adults and one toddler and it worked very well for everyone's comfort. We would love to go back again!

Corona, CAAmazing property at an amazing location
Left on 10/17/2011 for a stay in July 2011
This is the only place I've ever stayed where all guests of our party immediately said "we're coming back here for sure" within 10 minutes of arriving. The house is impeccably maintained. The staff takes care of everything and really help you experience Costa Rica. The views are breathtaking. The food was delicious. We say more wildlife from the deck/balcony then in the national park!
My absolute highest rating. Highly recommended. -

Columbia, Maryland USABreath-taking relaxation with incredible adventures
Left on 10/15/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Our Villa la Macha trip was one of the most spectacular, relaxing, and well organized vacations we have enjoyed. We followed Scott's suggestions especially about traveling with a van service and arranging for Jota and his family to supply our meals and recommend excursions. The house, the view, and garden were more fantastic than the photos on the web. We were stunned with the beauty of the property and the wildlife in the area. Jota, his wife, and mother were incredibly nice and helpful. They were considerate to all of our needs and were particularly sweet to our grandchildren. We would definitely visit again!

Landrum, South CarolinaHow could it get any better?
Left on 10/13/2011 for a stay in February 2011
We planned a 2 week vacation with 4 couples and did quite a bit of research. The more we read, the more we determined that Villa La Macha was perfect for our needs. The Villa has a gorgeous ocean view overlooking beautiful gardens. The Villa is very close to the dining and shopping areas of the area and a short drive to the beach. Our cooks prepared local foods and catered to our every need. The beautiful rooms were cleaned each day and our clothes were washed daily. The house keeper was delightful and catered to our every need. We were treated to daily views of nearby monkeys and beautiful birds from our Villa balcony. We enjoyed nature's beauty while having easy access to the internet and a beautiful large flat screen television in the living room. The large swimming pool adjacent to the house was perfect for dailly swims and fresh margaritas. We were provided top knotch service by the Villa owner and staff. Our 2 weeks went by way too fast and we promised ourselves that we would return to this gorgeous property in the near future. We recommend the Villa to anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica in a beautiful and safe home.
Can't wait to come back!
