Costa Rica was beautiful, but all of us agree that it was our stay at Casa de las Cascadas that made our trip what it was!! The design of the home is so unique and its placement overlooking both ocean and mountains was spectacular. The view from every angle, coupled with the stunning sunsets, made each day there special. Although our trip was scheduled at the end of their rainy season, that did not stop us from enjoying time together in the living room overlooking the ocean, or sitting on the large covered patio outside the Master bedroom watching a sloth that was perched in a tree on the edge of the property, for hours on end.
The property managers, Kent & Estella, went out of their way to provide us with things that we needed. Whether it was blankets for the beds because of the newly installed air conditioners in each bedroom, or transportation to pick up our rental car, or the speedy repair of the internet service that had gone out. At least, I should say, as speedy as Ticos do things!! :-)
The layout of the home was very conducive to our family with a teen and young adult daughter and our older son and his wife. The apartment overlooking the beautifully landscaped back yard was perfect for my son & his wife to escape to each night.
Listening to the waterfall - the source of water flowing down beside the front entrance stairs, through the house and out the other side - was a highlight each day! And, the infinity pool with its placement overlooking the ocean and sunsets was a cool break in the heat of the day.
Our evening sharing dinner around the table served by the chef that we hired and his assistant was also a highlight of the trip!
All in all - it was the best vacation ever!!

Staying in Casa de las Cascadas for one week was the best decision we made on our trip to Costa Rica. We enjoyed the privacy, the fantastic view, and magnificent architecture of the house. This house is like a hidden gem, perfectly situated in the beautiful landscape found in Costa Rica. Also we appreciated the professionalism and kindness of Estela & Kent, who made this stay so fantastic! Hope to be back one day!

Casa de las Cascadas is an elegant architectural wonder perched on a gorgeous hillside overlooking a beautiful lush emerald landscape. The house is unparalleled in views, privacy, and amenities. From a very private infinity pool you have a sweeping 180 degree panoromic view of rainforest and ocean in the distance. It is minutes away from the beach, restaurants, bars, tour offices...in a word, everything.
The company management and concierge team, specifically Kent and Estela went to extremes providing personalized care and services for us, their demanding guests. They are as amazingly professional as they are accommodating and friendly. You will truly be made to feel at home.
I highly recommend this team, and this property!

It is a very nice place. Big, comfortable and with a nice view. The only detail to consider is that it has aC in only some parts of the house.

Amazing, luxurious hideaway with spectacular views of mountains, sea & jungle. My husband and I saw sloths, monkeys and rare birds every day. Space and comfort and a pool to cool down in.
What made our holiday even more special was the attention to detail, the level of service and all the wonderful help and advice given to us by Estela. This was an unforgettable experience.
