We hardly had to leave to see the flora and fauna-we had sloths, monkeys, and butterflies in the front yard-a beautiful setting.The town is nice and close-the beach a bus ride away-we did not need to rent a car-using the local cabs was cheaper and easier.

We have just had a fabulous stay at villa motmot after a coast to coast trek across Costa Rica. The villa was so peaceful but within walking distance to the town of Quepos and a bus ride to the beach of Manuel antonio. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the Spa on site was first class.

We traveled in costa rica for a month with out children ages 2,6,10.
The house was much bigger than we expected. I think 2 families can stay there.
Sitting on the porch and watching the monkeys and sloths on the trees was the best.
The pool was nice but cold
The house is very homey, well maintained, not top end.
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
The kids room did not have air conditioning.
