We stayed at Casa Paraiso in La Reserva with our wedding party when we came to Manuel antonio to get married earlier this July. I don't know where to begin - it was all so wonderful!! Dallas (the concierge at La Reserva) was incredibly helpful and friendly. She replied to my questions promptly via email before our trip and was helpful and attentive during our stay as well. The villa itself was impeccably maintained and absolutely gorgeous - it took me almost 3 hours to choose our room because they were really all so beautiful (we did end up staying in the master bedroom and the steam shower and private balcony made it a great choice!). We used chef services and food delivery while there, and I would highly recommend both. The villa is truly as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures and well worth every penny of our stay there. Some of our family and friends stayed in neighboring Casa Feliz, which was smaller but also well-designed, spotless, and beautiful. We spotted a sloth in a tree near Casa Feliz, but the only drawback to Casa Paraiso (which may not be a drawback for some) is that we didn't see any monkeys in La Reserva. We saw plenty elsewhere though and, thus, we are beyond satisfied with Casa Paraiso and cannot recommend it highly enough. We did rent a car and think we'd recommend doing so, as it saved money for the trip from SJO (get a local gps) and made getting around Manuel antonio really easy. The housekeeping was wonderful - nice and thorough - during our stay and really, we just want to go back and spend more time there!!! One of our guests was asked his favorite part of the wedding week and his reply was that it was all fun, but just hanging out in the house may have been the best part. We hope to return to Casa Paraiso at some point and (although we visited many beautiful hotels and villas where our other guests were staying) we are so happy we stayed at Casa Paraiso during our wedding week and think it was the best choice!

From the fabulous views to the friendly, accomodating staff, Casa Feliz is a great place to escape.
Regardless of which bedrooom you choose you feel like you have the best room in the house. Great details and views from each room.
There are great social spaces and places to escape and read a book while overlooking the pacific. We were in CR for a family party and it was a great place to entertain. The staff took care of menus, caterers and entertainment. All we had to do is show up and enjoy!
We will definitely be back to this little piece of paradise!

Our stay at Casa Feliz in La Reserva was absolutely amazing! Does not even compare to anywhere else we have traveled. We had wonderful treatment by La Reserva staff and the concierge took care of everything and very informative too. Anything we wanted to do, the concierge made it happen and added it to our itinerary. Casa Feliz is a beautiful home in pristine condition! Every day, the house keeper cleaned house, cleaned rooms, had our clean laundry in room, dishes done and put away. La Reserva is minutes away from fabulous, ocean view restaurants or stay in and order pizza. Our absolute favorite thing we did was the zip line in the jungle!! We think if we go back, we would only do the zip line excursion and enjoy the rest of the time relaxing at Casa Feliz. We enjoyed all the excursions we did, but the house is like a resort and you never have to leave it. Our vacation at La Reserva was a worry free, unforgettable, fun, relaxing experience and we would go back in a heartbeat!

The people, the food, and views were just priceless. Each of the homes are unique in beauty, yet fit our needs perfectly with a few couples. It was the perfect vacation...we can't wait to come visit again!
