Located in an exclusive area inside Tulemar, Casa del Mar is a luxurious, 2 story, 2 bedroom retreat nestled into the jungle hillside. It offers panoramic views of the ocean and lush jungle.
The villa is luxuriously furnished and has high end appliances throughout. As you enter through the huge teak door you pass into the over-sized living and kitchen area. There is also a 1/2 bath and a large daybed / TV on this floor. This leads to large wrap-around veranda with stunning view of the ocean and jungle, an outdoor dining area and a jacuzzi tub.

Since this was our first time visiting Costa Rica we weren't sure what to expect but as soon as we stepped into Casa Del Mar we knew this would be our favorite vacation house. Not only is the casita perfect for us as a couple, there would have been plenty of space for another couple too. The home was furnished beautifully and the views of the ocean were perfect. From jungle strolls to the perfect private beach...this home is a winner and we'll definitely be back!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tulemar in Manuel antonio. Mauricio was very helpful in lining up the rental car and day trips. He was great to work with. The maid service was also very good. It was a vacation filled with both activities and relaxation. Our 8 and 11 year old children and both Mom and Dad had a great time zip lining, white water rafting, ATV touring and the guided tour through the national forest. The accommodations were very comfortable and the view magnificent. We were in one of the 2 bedroom premium villas. The monkeys would come and visit us on the balconies. The private beach is great too. The food in both Manuel antonio and Quepos was very good. All the fruit is very fresh.
Everyone gave a big thumbs up to Tulemar and Manuel antonio. We will go back soon!

We had a wonderful experience and have shared that experience with our friends. The community was family friendly and had all the amenities of a resort. The service from everyone was exceptional - and we are a tough family to please.

This was our third trip to Tulemar. We've stayed in the bungalows and the casas, but this past trip which included Casa #2 was the very best. The casas are great for families with the bedrooms downstairs, and the very beautiful living room/kitchen/view upstairs.
Accommodations could not be nicer, and the service...well...it's beyond fabulous.
Family vacations can be so hard. Rarely, is everyone happy with every aspect, but not here. Dave and Mauricio work hard at making everything perfect. There's nothing to think about. All dinner and tour accommodations are made for you, and you are treated like royalty when the restaurant owner knows you were sent by Dave and Mauricio.
The surroundings are stunning, and unlike typical resorts, you get the sense that you've been dropped into the natural setting, with the smallest sacrifice of flowers and trees to accommodate the buildings.
I could go on and on...so let me just say (again) it's great. A vacation in the true sense of word.

We had an incredible time at the villa. Tulemar is gorgeous. There is enough to do in Tulemar and the surrounding area to keep you busy your entire vacation. Our hosts, Dave and Mauricio, could not have been kinder. Their recommendations for meals and entertainment were perfect. The property is beautiful, clean and easy to maneuver. The pools were lovely. The staff were very friendly. The housekeeper was delightful and the villa was spotless. The villa was elegant and beautifully decorated in a Bali design. The layout was perfect providing great social areas as well as privacy for times you just wanted to read a book and relax. We loved cooking and dinning in the villa. All amenities were provided. We felt like we were in a 5 star home with incredible views of the ocean. The panoramic views from the balconies were breathtaking. I would highly recommend this property and in particular this villa to anyone who wanted to be treated like royalty. Thanks Dave and Mauricio. You are the best. XOXO Peggy and gang
