We stayed for 3 days and it was a fantastic experience. The beach had perfect waves for the kids to boogie board! We had a beautiful view of the sunset from our porch and enjoyed lounging in the hot tub. The bedrooms are very nice with an outdoor bathroom/shower area.
Frank was very nice and he was always there to answer any questions or concerns. This is a perfect place to bring your kids as well as friends, family etc. -

Rick - you should be very proud of the "team" your have in place to support travelers to CR, specifically the Casa 405 team. It all starts with Kim Garner who is the best, polite, patient and always accommodating. Kim is one in a million. Once there, Frank is top notch, polite and very available. Maid service is unreal. Fishing crew were friendly and incredibly aggressive and quite the guys to watch in action. All travel (vans), excursions, rooms, property are out of this world. The beach is the secret home run. The $500 gift was perfect and we used it at the nice nearby restaurants. I'm extremely lucky and blessed to work for Mainline and such a generous person as yourself, you made my wife and two boys smile ear to ear and shake their head in disbelief. I can't say enough, thank you very much!!! It is a pleasure to know hard work can be rewarded, that can't be said by many people or companies anymore. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

The three of us had a fantastic time in Costa Rica while staying at Casa 405. The entire experience made us feel special. Casa 405 is a high quality property with a view that is spectacular. While there are other properties close by, there is a feeling of seclusion because of the way the properties are configured. The staff were very professional and went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and well treated. The food that was prepared for us was amazing, also.

The Chefs are incredible and do put out some amazing food. Come back any time and make sure you try your hand at some fishing on the Quepos Charters boat, the Moonwalker. My Wife and I, our 2 children and 1 fiance stayed here for a week and were completely blown away by the accommodations, service, and location. The villa itelf had a great floorplan,fantastic views, and was spotless, the gated Tulemar resort offered excellent services and even a private beach. Pretty much anything we wanted was a phonecall away to our concierge. They pre-arranged activities ( zip lining, rafting, tours ) that went flawlessly. All in all, we could not have asked for anything better.

Great people & service - Chris Madrigel went above and beyond!; Beach was beautiful and a lot of fun; grounds are beautiful with monkeys & sloths; pools are relaxing and quite.
Casa 405:
I could sit on the deck all day enjoying the view; beautiful clean place; hot water heater kept kicking off - finally replaced - hope it is not a continueing problem
area:
good restuarants and lots of help from the tulemar staff finding the right places; public beach 10mins away was pretty with crowds of people; excursion were great - jetski, ADR Zipline, quads, spas; rainy season was OK - half of our stay was sunshine (end of July). -

My wife and I spent a week at casa 405 during the "rainy season" and loved every minute of it. Rainy season actually means no crowds and beautiful sunny weather 90% of the time with clouds and some rain moving in just when you need it around 5 or 6 in the afternoon! Pictures on the internet do not do this house justice. It is very plush, has an awesome view, and comes with great amenities including a stunning beach with snack bar and beach toys, several spectacular pool settings, and great jungle scenery complete with monkeys, toucans and other amazing wildlife. There are a lot of great restaurants to choose from, many within walking distance. We had a private chef cook dinner for us 2 evenings served on our balcony overlooking the Pacific. I highly recommend it! Ask for Chef Tito and be prepared for some great food and entertainment. One of the great things about Costa Rica is the many activities to choose from not found on other tropical vacations. We toured Manuel antonio Park, zip lined, Atved, fished (caught sailfish!), surfed, kayaked, and ran out of time before we got to horseback riding, volcano tour, etc, etc.
Great house and great location, we will be back!

Casa 405 is gorgeous. Stone floors and granite counters through out. Beautiful stone outdoor showers. Best of all, an incredible unobstructed view of the jungle and pacific ocean below. We loved the white faced monkeys that visited us almost daily. Our private chef was a dream come true. Best of all was the private beach and all it's free amenities. We took their kayaks out a short distance into the cove and snorkeled off an anchored platform. Upon returning to the beach, we boogied boarded and body surfed until sunset. If our vacation wasn't heaven, it was something close to it.

My family and I just spent a week at Casa 405. The service was great, the view was unbelievable. We would highly recommend this as a don't miss vacation spot. At the private beach on Wednesday the attendant told me that he understands that people are here for vacations and it is his job to make sure it was a great vacation for us. Our chefs Johan and Christofer were excellent. The food and service was as good as any five star restaurant. Our concierge Frank was very helpful and at the willing to do anything necessary to attend to any need. I would highly recommend taking advantage of the Moonwalker fishing trip for an excursion. We caught Maui Maui, sharks, yellow fin tuna, Wahoo, and rainbow runners. Captain Franklin and first mate Dempsey treated us great and did a excellent job of making sure this was a grat experience for all of us. We can not wait to return and enjoy all that this vacation location provides.

My wife and I stayed at Casa 405 from Dec 17 - 23rd, 2011. We knew very little about the area or the country prior to visiting. What we thought was a lack of planning ended up making the stay so much more enjoyable. Everything, and I mean everything, was handled with care by the concierge, Frank Viales. We were given a dossier with our scheduled activities, chauffeured to every one of them, prepared amazing and authentic meals by a top-notch chef, Tito Borges. All we had to do was show up. It was a dream come true. The property is among the best Quepos has to offer, and certainly the best vantage point from Tulemar. It is a breathtaking property. Just as impressive as the property are the people. The staff are truly friends, and the people of Quepos are friendly, helpful and kind. We will definitely come back and have been spreading the word to our friends and family.

We do not have words that can really describe the stunning beauty nor the exceptional way we were treated at Casa 405. The views are stunning & the house itself is just amazing. This was a beautiful and unique experience for us, we have never before rented a house, but we loved it. The first night we had a chef come in and cook a tipical Costa Rican dinner. This was a one of a kind experience that we will never forget. I must say one of my favorite places in the house was the out doors bathroom, loved it !!I think that there's a not a single thing that we would change. I can't wait to go back!

My wife and I took our four sons (20,18,17,17) along with one son's girlfriend on this vacation. We stayed in Casa 405 in the Tulemar resort. We also had a nearby (100 meters away)bungelo for some of the boys to sleep in. Only four of us stayed at 405. There are two bedrooms each with a private bath. However, the shower is outside which was fun. Just make sure the privacy shade is closed when you use it. The commode is also outside but when you see the configuration with the shower, will realize that it make complete sense in their climate. Overall, Casa 405 was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean. There was a clean, semi-private (only guests staying at one of the Casa's could use it) pool within easy walking distance. There was a private beach at the bottom of the resort and there is a shuttle for those not up to the walk down to it. The walk back up to the top has some extremely strenuous grades but if you are fit, the walk makes for a great morning workout (I went up and down 4x in the morning). We had a private chef come in every morning which made the entire vacation for my wife - no cooking. We had fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes and juice every morning for breakfast. Every night, we came back to cold drinks and very fresh fish. My one son, who would not eat fish at home, became addicted to the fresh fish. We had a lot of laughs over that. We had daily maid service and always came back to a clean Casa. Everyone was, as my kids called it "chill". We fished, went atv'ing, toured the Rainmaker rain forest, saw monkeys every morning, toured the Manuel antonio Park, shopped, and laughed - a lot. We have a very close family and we all rated it as one of our very best.
