Villas Vecinos ('Neighboring Homes') consists of two adjacent luxury homes rented together in Manuel Antonio -- Vista Oceana and Casa Alegria. With a total of 10 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, two jacuzzi tubs, two pools and a hot tub, on 10,000 sq ft, these homes are perfect for large gatherings.

Both homes are fully air conditioned and have incredible panoramic ocean views. Virtually very room in each house has unobstructed ocean views. The villas are located 1000 ft from the ocean and sits atop a small bluff elevated 200 ft. above the beach allowing you to hear the waves breaking as you watch the surfers below. The panoramic view stretches... from the world famous Manuel Antonio national park across the long public beach and up to the rocky shoreline of the Mariposa Peninsula to the north.

These are some of the closest luxury homes to the national park and public beach... you can walk down to the beach in just minutes!

Swim up bar: Unlike many of the homes in the area that offer little or no ocean view from the pool you will relax in our double sided infinity edge pool that seems to melt into the pacific, which features a swim-up-bar complete with Bar-B-Q, refrigerator and sink so you can sit, eat, relax and watch a spectacular sunset every night. Or enjoy a drink on one of any of the 8 covered decks or balconies for an even more spectacular view. The pool also has an area that is just 12 inches deep for those with toddlers to enjoy.

Handicapped Friendly: This is one of the few luxury homes that has the main entrance at street level and can be considered handicapped friendly, the gated front entry and security provided by the two car garage at grade level allow for easy access to the main house, and the wide open floor plan makes for convenient use of a wheel chair. There are only three steps between the main living area and the first floor master suite. The main living area is also on the same level as the covered terrazzo and pool allowing everyone to be a part of the fun.

  Both homes were beautiful with breathtaking views. The landscape and pools were delightful gathering spots for the family at the end of fun filled days. The holiday rate is extreme and so plan your visit to avoid the holiday rate. We highly recommend the option of a personal chef service as our absolute favorite experience was the incredible meals prepared by Cornelius and Francine with plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. There was an air conditioner unit that was broken upon arrival. We were assured it would not affect the temp of the house unfortunately it did especially when the second air conditioner broke down. In addition there were many ceilings fans not working. The beach was truly beautiful and should be part of your experience. However, it is a cab ride away or a 20 minute hike on a busy road. We were informed we could walk down our road to the beach in 5 minutes. This is true except these directions take you through a hotel property and the owners forbid access through their lobby to the beach. The concierge organized our activities which included zip lines, horseback riding, mangrove tours, birding, massages, surfing and atvs. These were fun memorable and a great value.
