Located at the end of the road on a hilltop over the Pacific Ocean, and in a particularly private part of Manuel Antonio, Casa Maravilla offers seclusion at it's best, while being ideally located halfway between the adjoining towns of Quepos and Manuel Antonio. The Manuel Antonio Nation Park and the multiple white sand beaches rimmed with pristine rainforest, are the treasured jewel of Costa Rica's park system and are less that 5 miles away while, Quepos, with it's wide variety of shopping, restaurants, bars, Casino, markets, and sport-fishing fleet is less than 5 minutes in the other direction.

Casa Maravilla is loaded with lush gardens (with over 100 landscape lights for a beautiful nighttime ambiance and more than 100 banana trees) and tropical rainforests, which border an important and well-traveled biological corridor through the area, so guests at Casa Maravilla can expect to see an abundance of wildlife on a frequent basis. Three types of friendly monkeys visit the property regularly, as well as the fascinating and slow moving tree sloths (we have had up to 5 at a time), a large variety of birds, and a plethora of other sometimes hard to describe animals, so bring your camera and you'll be sure to enjoy the best of the jungle and it's amazing inhabitants from the terraces and gardens of this amazing luxury villa.

The home itself is considered among the finest of the custom homes in the Manuel Antonio area - constructed entirely out of Almond wood! Fine craftsmanship and loving attention to details are evident throughout the house, which makes it a pleasure to experience. The large infinity swimming pool with its expansive decks, was designed by and award winning architect for outdoor relaxing and entertaining, while the beautiful New Rancho with a bar, barbeque and dining area and outdoor Plasma TV is perfect for hosting groups or parties. Casa Maravilla is also specially designed for the varying weather of the tropics; to be suitable and comfortable for enjoying every day, season, or mood. The 30-foot high hardwood ceilings provide excellent ventilation, and sliding glass doors all the way around, allow you to either open the home completely to the fresh pacific breezes by day and the sounds of the jungle at night, or to close it up and enjoy the experience in fully air conditioned comfort.

You will enjoy every unique room of this tastefully decorated home, each having a private bathroom, 4 having private terraces, and three have their own kitchenettes. Every room is different and truly unique, like the 20-foot almond-wood catwalk, suspended through the center of the home, which leads to an all hardwood master suite, of which the entire front wall is a plate glass window facing the Pacific.

The full time staff includes maid service 7 days a week, chef services including preparation of three gourmet meals per day by professional Chef Ronald, and a full time exclusive Concierge Manager to assist you with coordinating your transportation from the airport, arrange tours, schedule massages and all other requirements. The home is one of the only ones supplied with all the amenities you would enjoy at home, including; phone, a computer with high speed internet and wireless connection, Sky TV, DVD library with over 75 movies, dual temperature wine refrigerator (stocked with wines from Chile, Argentina and Spain), IPOD speaker system, IPOD capable alarm clocks, fine linens and towels, full kitchenware and much more. Manuel Antonio is located on the central Pacific coast and, as of recent years, is the number one most visited area in the country. This is due to the natural beauty of the forest, stunning coastline with white sand beaches, ideal climate which has a mean annual temperature of 27 Celsius with a minimum temperature of 20 Celsius - or about 70 degrees, wide variety of 5 star and international restaurants, and every imaginable activity to keep you busy.

Manuel Antonio has one of the largest and most beautiful beaches in the entire Country, which has, as a backdrop, emerald-green forests and lush hillsides.   Our stay at Casa Maravilla was the best vacation any of us had ever been on. The staff made our trip completely and totally stress free. The house is perfect for a large group--everyone has their own space but the communal areas are beautiful and well-designed. Our friends staying at other houses all wanted to come back and stay at Casa Maravilla instead!! We had 6 adults and 8 kids (ages 2 to 12) and every single person had an amazing time. We used every bedroom but we all felt like we had perfect space and privacy. We cannot say enough about this trip--the house, the location, Ronald's cooking, the kindness of the entire staff (including the awesome night watchman!), the pool, the sunsets, the visiting monkeys, sloths, and toucans...it could not have been a more amazing trip. Between the 3 families plus 14 friends at other houses, I think we did every excursion there is to do in Manuel antonio and the were all Great--especially Dream Canopy and Surf Todd surf lessons.

  Can't say enough about Casa Maravilla. We were 5 couples and had plenty of privacy but really enjoyed the beautiful poolside and outdoor eating area together. Chef Ronald was reason alone to visit. Amazing food. Fresh fish, lobster, steak all superbly prepared by him. And much cheaper than dining out. My friend who has celiac had never felt better. And he kept us well entertained. Great personality. The whole staff was fantastic- the grounds and house were meticulous. Plenty to do in the area all very close. I caution anyone looking at Casa Pacifica. I had put a down payment of $3300 down last June. When I attempted to make final payment, the owner told me it was no longer available and would not return my down payment. Am sure he found someone willing to pay more having since learned it is listed on multiple sites for many different prices. Hard lesson learned and out $3300. Casa Maravilla made up for it.

  When can we go back to Casa Maravilla?

  Our group of 10 friends just returned from a week's stay in Casa Maravilla. There aren't enough words to describe our amazing time in the jungle. The home is an oasis in itself, making it hard for us to want to leave and explore anything else. We had two or three days that monkeys were all over the property, Capuchins and Squirrel Monkeys and iguanas visited frequently. The jungle landscape, exquisite indoor/outdoor living, and inviting and refreshing pool make the house wonderful, but the warm, friendly, hard-working staff give the house a soul. The housekeeping ladies are efficient - delivering your clean laundry daily, the groundskeeper maintains the beautiful jungle flora, the security guards keep watch all day and all night, and of course, Chef Ronald delivers meals fit for a king. His cooking is fantastic, but the conversation and knowledge of Costa Rica he has to offer is Casa Maravilla's greatest asset. Without a doubt, Chef Ronald made our vacation, and has our group wondering when we can visit Costa Rica, and Casa Maravilla, again!
  
  - Tip: Truly our group's favorite times of the trip were sitting around the table during every Chef-prepared meal, and chatting and learning from Ronald. We invited him to eat with us every meal, which turned out to be the best decision. He is one of the most kind, warm-hearted people we have ever met, and is an absolute wealth of knowledge of all things Costa Rica. Take some time to get to know him... you won't regret it. Chef Ronald makes Casa Maravilla a home.
