Villas del Sol is sits midway between the Costa Rican port town of Quepos and The Manuel Antonio National Park, making it conveniently located to all the best restaurants, beaches, tours and other "must-see" places in the area. Since we are on the West (Ocean), the views are spectacular, and unhindered by any obstruction. Villas del Sol is only a few meters from the main road itself, making transportation simple. Buses, taxis . . . or just walking are all easy. No car is needed, but, if desired, parking is also right in front of The Villa. There is no better location in all Manuel Antonio.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Villas del Sol. So much so, that I came back 3 months after my first visit. Tranquil home with beautiful views from every room. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants and nightlife in town. The service provided by Donald's team was impeccable. From delicious home-cooked meals to booking fun and interesting activities - they do it all.

El año pasado para mi cumpleaños decidĂ con un grupo de amigos visitar Villas del Sol, para pasar una semana en Manuel antonio. Al principio cuando estábamos tratando de elegir adonde quedarnos, fue un poco complicado por la gran cantidad de opciones, entre casas para rentar y hoteles, pero querĂamos una casa por la comodidad y privacidad que esto provee.
Debo decir que la decisiĂłn fue la correcta, la ubicaciĂłn, cerca de restaurantes, el Parque Nacional, la playa, la impresionante vista del mar, las comodidades de la casa, el gran tamaño, asĂ como la atenciĂłn provista por los administradores, Donald y Nathan, todo esto hizo que la experiencia fuera increĂble, que pasáramos todos unas excelentes vacaciones y yo un gran cumpleaños.

From the moment we arrived, Don and Nathan made us feel like old friends rather than just touristy travlers. The accomidations far exceeded what I had expected. I would recommend this location to anyone wanting a little piece of paradiese.

After my vacation plans fell through last summer, I had the great fortune to be directed by a friend to Villa del Sol. It was so much better than what I had originally planned.
The house itself is amazing. It's open and breezy, but has aC if needed. Plenty of room and looks like it could be the setting for a movie. Balconies on each level were perfect for the breakfasts of fresh fruit and juices and the pastries from the local bakery. The view of the Pacific from the upper floors was indeed peaceful. Stone steps led to the pool and lunches in the patio area were fun.
The house sits right off the main road through Manuel antonio and is protected from the street by a massive wooden door that opens to a welcoming inside patio, complete with fountain. The local bus has stops within a short walking distance and is an experience not to be missed. We ate at a colorful restaurant right down the street. It had white mini lights strung around the trees and plenty of tables outdoors. We could sit there with our meal wataching the sunset. I can't remember the name but our hosts, Don and Nathan certainly can supply it.
They were such a help! I didn't realize that a host would even be a consideration, but it seemed they intuitively knew what would please us and were quick to offer suggestions. Want to eat at home? Voila! They supplied the chefs. Want a massage on the balcony? Again, they made it happen. Need a translator? Call Nathan. Want a suggestion? Ask Don. They were there, and yet not intrusive.
It was a total change of environment for us. One that we will visit again. Even the rainy day we had offered up new sounds of the jungle and fragrances of the flowers.
With a non-stop flight from Charlotte, I can't think of any reason not to return.
