Denver, ColoradoA beautiful location with gorgeous views and a relaxing, enjoyab

We spent a lovely week in Manzanillo and returned to our "real lives" both refreshed and relaxed! The service was excellent and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The views from the restaurant on the property were as beautiful as the food was delicious.
We enjoyed a massage on our terrace, a day of snorkeling from the nearby marina, and lots of time poolside with their special blackberry margaritas.
It is a charming spot in a beautiful location -- truly a special experience! -

San FranciscoDefinately going back soon!!

My trip to Dolphin Cove had me go with a few friends for a week in February of 2010. I found the staff to be very attentive and very willing to lend a hand when I needed it. They advised us the best places to go for dinner and what there was to do in our newly discovered Manzanillo. The facility was exactly what I wanted for a beautiful stay in a tropical paradise...beautiful flowers everywhere...beachfront and pool ready for laid back fun. The room was cleaned well every day...the restaurant was such that after going to other restaurants which were very highly rated we all agreed that the most consistent place to get tasty food and strong drinks was simply the Dolphin Cove restaurant which was just downstairs from our room. A week at Dolphin Cove made me realize that this type of family atmosphere and relaxed air was the type of place I will seek out in the future.

Oslo, NorwayFantastic bay view

Over Thanksgiving I was back at beautiful Dolphin Cove for my 3rd stay there. The days start with the most amazing sunrise I've seen, absolutely gorgeous! Then there is time for the morning swim - either in the pool by the sundeck or right down on the beach.
For those who enjoy architecture, this place is a must. The design is functional of course, with big decks to enjoy the sun at any time of the day. But it holds something extra, little spires, towers and other details as the whole place clings to the side of the cliff, right above the bay.
The little cosy restaurant serves the best local food around, with fresh seafood being a specialty. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a place suitable for any type vaction but next time I go I hope to be able to spend more time - this is the perfect place to spend 2 -4 weeks or more:-) -

My dream vacation at Dolphine Cove was absolutely perfect!!
The vaitors were attentive and smily, and the service was quick and
smooth..
The meny offers a wide variety of delicious mexian- and seafood dishes.
The view from the room was stunning, and every breakfast was spent at the
charming balcony, enjoying a birds perspective over the bay.
The swimming from the beach was refreshing, and with a snorkel and a
mask- the colorful fish can be enjoyed for hours..
The pool by the restaurant is fun, with two levels, and a slide down from the
top one down to the bigger pool.
There is also a bar by the pool, offering the very best margaritas!
There are beautiful flowers everywhere, hibiscus in all different colours, and
bougenvillas climbing the freshly painted walls of the hotelbuildings.
We also went on a great snorkeling tour nearby, renting a boat and a guide.
There are many tours and interesting things to do in the area, and the
hotel-staff is very helpful with recommendations and bookings.
Thanks again for a great stay! I will for sure be back!

NorwayPerfect Family Holiday
Left on 02/04/2010 for a stay in November 2009
Our family stayed at the Dolphin Cove Inn for Thanksgiving and just loved it. Personally I don’t like big hotels, and Dolphin Cove Inn offers a great family vacation in an intimate setting. The combination of spacious rooms/suites equipped with a kitchen and big balconies gives you the independence of an apartment at the same time as you get all the service of a hotel with rooms being cleaned daily a nice open-air restaurant just a few steps away. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. The hotel is situated on a hill-side and you should be aware that there are stairs to climb when going up from the beach- and pool areas. However, we found the stairways and paths very charming and we certainly could use the “free exercise” after all the good food and drinks. In addition, the hill-side also means a great view from the balconies overlooking the whole bay. It was a fabulous start of the day to enjoy our morning coffee on the balcony with a breathtaking view while the kids had plenty of room to play or could watch TV inside. Everyday romance for parents :-).
The pool area is very nice and our kids (5 and 8 years) loved spending time there. Typically we would spend the morning by the pool have lunch at the restaurant and go to the beach for a swim and snorkelling in the afternoon. I found the beaches nearby clean and natural.
We were three families travelling together and found it very convenient to have spacious rooms and balconies. We were able to put the kids to bed, or let them watch a movie together while the parents enjoyed the evening on one of the large balconies. In bigger hotels I normally find it difficult to accommodate both parents’ and kids’ needs in the evening due to large distances and security issues. This was never a problem at Dolphin Cove Inn.
The Dolphin Cove Inn staff is very friendly and helpful if you would like to do an excursion or activity. The harbour is beautiful and I can truly recommend a boat excursion. -

Ornskoldsvik, SwedenA wonderful vacation for all ages!

Dolphin Cove Inn, Manzanillo, is a wonderful hotel! I've stayed there twice and I really enjoyed it! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the service is great on all areas. The hotel has a very nice pool (and a children's pool with a slide) next to their wonderful restaurant which serves great Mexican and American food! There's a lovely boardwalk and there are two sandy beaches very close to the hotel. There's a lot of activites to do, such as different tours, playing golf, shopping, scuba diving, fishing and other water sports. I really liked the room I had, with a beautiful ocean view! The rooms are very fresh, big and clean with air conditioning.
I think this makes the perfect vacation spot for families, for the romantic getaway or for friends traveling together!
I will definately be back soon for another great vacation! Thank you Dolphin Cove Inn!Response from The Brown Family - 02/02/2010
