Manzanita - From the location to the spaciousness, you can't go wrong with the Sea Princess. With a wide open floor plan with the kitchen, living and dining room and floor to ceiling windows facing the beach you have all the views you may want of both the ocean and Neahkahnie Mountain. The living room features a large wood burning fireplace, great for those chilly coastal mornings and evenings. The kitchen looks over the living room and dining room so even the cooks in the family can be apart of the conversation and games! Property was too big for two people and too small for more than four. Stuffy little bunk bed rooms for others. Trash all around the outside of the house. Furniture torn up. NO WI FI what? and basic cable. Cleaning fee way to high.

This was a nice refuge on the beach. Saying it was a few steps from the ocean was a huge exaggeration. They also claimed ocean views when it is only possible to see a tiny glimpse of the ocean from the house. I don't think exaggerating the amenities was the way to go because we came expecting more than was available and we also paid more than another location for something that just was not true. That being said, we loved the place, and if they had been honest we would not have been disapointed initially. The location at the end of the street right on the sand dune was quiet and pleasant. The rental company was attentive. We appreciated the chance to stay and enjoy the ocean.

Home is in a great location. It is very bright and cozy. Lots of windows. Ocean is a few steps away. The view is mostly sea grass but is awesome. It is close to town and the state park. Kitchen is well stocked. I brought utensils from home I thought they would not have. They have everything you would ever need.

Up side: Location was terrific. Deer pass through the front in the mornings. Dog friendly but not dog stinky. Outfitted for a family. Down side: House got super hot, non functioning air conditioner and no windows that open in front room. Lots and lots of wood paneling-made the place dark. Dishwasher was not attached to the counter. No place to sit outside comfortably.

We have rented quite often from Ribbon/Sunset and have always had a positive experience. This house, although oceanfront, does not have much of a view of the ocean, but it is on my favorite stretch of beach. It does have plenty of sleeping space for such a small foot print! The cable box did not work in two of the rooms. Not a huge deal, as we did not travel to the coast to watch TV, but it is always nice when every thing works as expected.

The Sea Princess is a great little house for an escape. It's an easy walk on the sand to the town, and the beach in front of the Sea Princess is phenomenal. Puffin is a quiet street and with the Sea Princess at the very end of the street, we were hardly aware of neighbors. The best part of being on the "far" north of town is that it was an easy walk to the golf course, which we did often. The house is well equipped electronically and we found the kitchen very well equipped. All in all, a very nice stay.

We spent 5 days celebrating our Mothers life. She and our Father spent their retirement in Manzanita and loved this wonderful beach community. We enjoyed wonderful weather and felt comfortable in this cabin located on the dunes and a quick walk to the beach. Thank you to the owners who make their cabin available for others to enjoy.

Everything was perfect (even the weather in January!). Easy and direct access to the beach. Great family games available, including pong. The surround view from the family room was terrific (although a bit low to see the water.). Wish we had more time! Princess Jenni was great to deal with.

Location was great. Right on the beach. It was rainy so there was an annoying constant loud drip outside the master bedroom, but other than that, it was a great house and a great stay.

Nice enough home, but probably would not rent this one again. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful weekend, but that meant that with the sun beating into the windows, it made for sauna like conditions in the living room/kitchen area. Master Bedroom
door did not shut all the way, outside lighting did not work and microwave reset switch had to be used each time we used the microwave. House was well stocked however and location to the beach was very convenient. -

Sea Princess suited our needs just fine. We loved that it is right on the beach, with lovely views from the front room. We especially liked seeing an adorable deer who came daily to eat from the tall grass out the front windows. The unit is not super updated, so it feels cabin-like with wood paneling and no-frills bathrooms, but if you are easy-going like us, you won't mind this and in fact, makes you feel more at home than if it were to be over the top fancy.
We really enjoyed our stay! -

The house layout was fine. The location is nice on the beach. However, there were ants in the kitchen. The pocket door on the bathroom was off and someone got trapped inside right away. The management responded quickly to requests which was nice.
