Located on a quiet street with a spacious deck that would be perfect for a great getaway.
Come and stay in this cozy and relaxing home, located just 5 1/2 blocks from the beach. The lower level invites you in with all the natural lite shining from the french doors that lead out to the deck. Relax in the living room with a wood burning fireplace, Cable TV, VCR, DVD, a desk and two hide-a-beds. Just off the living room is the kitchen and dining room. I was very impressed with the 24 hour availability for help, esp when I realized the house address was not on our confirmation papers. The house was clean, comfortable and cozy. It had all the supplies we needed to stay there and make a few meals, minus some crab crackers, which we end up purchasing every year when we travel. I don't know how the sleeper sofas were since we didn't need them, but the beds were fine.
I would definitely recommend using this rental company again. -

Ocean Castle has long been our favorite vacation home in Manzanita. It's just the right size for our family of four, and is set among the pines in a quiet location. We love sitting on the deck and listening to the hummingbirds which nest in the tree nearby. The high ceilings upstairs give it a light, airy feel. This cozy home has all we need for a fun stay, including books, puzzles and games. Come see for yourself why we love it!

The house is modern and clean with a newly finished deck and some new furniture and bedding. It could use some additional lighting in the master bedroom for reading at night.The kitchen is well stocked, but could use a couple of larger pots and pans. It is a nice location for eating outside, with trees around the side deck. The lock box is convenient. The only inconvenience is the distance from the beach which is over a quarter mile walk. Overall, a good place for a small family to vacation in Manzanita.

I traveled with my 13 year old son and his friend to meet my parents at the Ocean Castle house in Manzanita. The house was a perfect fit for the 2 boys--slept on the fold out sofa's downstairs, and my parents had their own queen bedroom, and I had my own queen bedroom, with my own space. We had a great visit, and would definitely recommend this rental for a vacation getaway. The house was in a quite neighborhood, and I enjoyed to short walk to the beach every morning and evening. Thank you!

This house was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We took the easy walk into town a few times but we chose to drive to the beach each time because of the steep hill. (The house is in the tsunami safe zone, though!!) We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was very accommodating! We'll be back!
