We loved it here. The view from the living room was amazing, and the proximity to the beach was fantastic. The house was exceptionally clean and very cozy. My boys begged for me to book it again for Spring Break next year. :)

This house was clean and well-equipped. We cooked several meals and did not lack anything. It's nice to have a property that allows dogs and yet is in great shape. Perfect for access to the beach and the view is incredible. The only downside is the sleeping arrangements. It's perfect for one family with children, but not so great for two couples. All in all, we would rent this property again.

Home was great location, beach front & very short walk to town, great space for a couple with baby and dog. Home was clean, furniture was comfortable, and kitchen had what we needed. Space is great for two adults and children, unless you don't mind sleeping on bunk beds. We would stay here again. SSVR has always been helpful.

The house was super clean, and very well stocked. Very quiet and cozy. Nothing deluxe--awesome mix of new(er) furniture and 80s decor--feels like it could be your relatives' beach house, not a real rental. Everything went smoothly, everything was as advertised. We are already planning our next visit.

Wonderful getaway, perfect location, heaven for us and our dog. It could use a bit more in the kitchen, like a broiler pan or cookie sheets.
A bit sandy in the sofa and the porch when we arrived, otherwise quite clean. -

We've stayed at Sandy Shores several times over the past few years. Maintenance has always been a problem. One year, we replaced the ripped front screen door ourselves. This year, the shower/tub sliding door fell off, when my husband was getting ready for a bath. Fortunately, he wasn't in the tub yet. It's difficult to figure out how to use the satellite dish(think it was broken)--not a big deal, but needs repair.
The place is well-furnished, clean ,and comfortable, and we love the giant couch!

The staff at Sunset is fantastic. This house was very clean, well stocked. The furniture is is good condition and pretty new. It could use some updated blankets and comforters but everything else perfect. The view from the porch is really great. Coming back next year for sure!

New bed in master!! That would have been the only negative to our stay but it was replaced midway. Great location-public trail to beach did not effect us or our dog and made for a straight shot down. Everything was clean and well put together and the kitchen was equipped for as much cooking as we like to do on vacation:)

The location was great, but the stream of people down the beach access path next to the house was provoking our dog to bark. The home was comfy and cozy, with great window views of the beach. The ping pong table needs upgraded supplies and a fan for the garage, and the master bedroom could use a new mattress, but we had a lovely time!

We have rented this property for the past 5 years, every summer. This year was not so great. The shower door, always rickety, fell out completely - onto my child's foot, and she had to get 3 stiches at the ER. Also, the back bedroom bed is very uncomfortable (soft in the center) so we did not use that room again. Also lots of pet hair in the house. We hope all this will be repaired next year.

We have stayed at this location many times. It is right on the beach and was very clean, and has great water pressure! They added a new table which is great. We are hoping that they add a new bed in the one room as it is very noisy and uncomfortable. It would be great if new mattresses would be provided. Ping Pong table is fun.

Nice location but next to trail to beach so we had people walking next to us. Queen bed was not comfortable and probably should be replaced. Some wear and tear on house but that is to be expected based on the location. Maybe a little pricey for the overall experience. BBQ and more outside seating would be nice(picnic table). Didn't use the table tennis in garage and could not find light switch. Like that it had two toliet. Well stocked - I brought extra paper towels and toliet paper and really didn't need to use them. Also could use a cookie sheet or baking sheets.

We could'nt have gotten luckier with the weather especially in April. Clear blue & hovering around 70 degrees! The house is perfect for a nice getaway with friends & family. The views are great from the living/dining room & on the adjacent deck as well. Oceanfront views & direct access to the beach make this home a great place to stay at. We will definitely book again. My only complaint as others have stated in past reviews is that the mattresses have seen better days. If the mattresses, pillows, & bedding were updated I think this place would be really close to perfect.

We loved Sandy Shores! The location is ideal, the house was very well stocked and was really, really comfortable for our 3 person-1 dog-family. We would absolutely stay here again. The rental company was great and responded to the one minor problem we had immediately. We just returned from our vacation and I can't wait to go back!!!

Home is in the perfect place. Views are outstanding. It is in walking distance to downtown Manzanita and right on the beach. Mattress in the main bedroom needs to be replaced and a mixer would be nice. Other than that it is an awesome place. You never want to leave. Check in and out couldn't be better.

We absolutely love this house - it's the perfect location and size for our growing family. We noticed and appreciated all the upgrades as well - from the new windows, new dining table to the very clean & neat interior. The only thing we'd like to see changed out is the mattresses. The queen has NO support & we spent our nights trying to clutch the sides. The kids mattress is on its last legs as well. But! other than that the stay was perfect. Thank you again! we'll be back... hopefully soon!
