If a traditional beach house is what you are looking for, look no more. 

Susan`s Beach Cottage was originally built in 1939 and was eventually remodeled to be the perfect cape cod style beach house. This home has lots of charm with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, sleeps 10 comfortably. The house sits less than a block to Manzanita Beach and town.

As you walk into this home, you are greeted with wood floors throughout, a large dining table to your right and the kitchen to your left. The spacious, eat-in kitchen has many great features such as a corner breakfast table, 2 full size sinks, and a large island which is perfect for preparin...g multiple meals. Off the kitchen is a large laundry/mud room. Back on the other side of the entry way is the large wood dining table with enough to seat 8 or more. The large windows across from the table let in plenty of natural light and look out to the large fenced in yard. This main level has the first two bedrooms which are attached. The first room has a beautiful king bed and the other room has two twin beds. This room set-up would be ideal for parents with children as they would be close by. There is also a full bath.

Just beyond the dining area is a big and cozy living room with a wood burning rock fireplace, plenty of seating, TV and a piano for those that love music. The sun room that is just off the living room is a great place to be rain or shine. The windows all around give you a view of the beautiful garden. This is also a great room for the kids with its many games and toys.

The wood stairs invite you up to the remaining two bedrooms. The one to your right has a large 4-poster queen bed and an attached full bath. The bedroom to your left has a queen and double bed with an attached full bath. Both of these rooms are full of natural lite and are spacious. 

Outside the house is fully surrounded by a fenced yard and beautiful green hedges. The yard has a full swing set for the kids, plenty of grass for your pets, a deck with chairs and a large patio, seating area.   We were one of two couple staying in the Triangle house. We had enough privacy to be comfortable. The kitchen was easy to work in. The furniture was grouped for conversational gatherings. The only negative was the incredible echo to our conversations. My friend said,
  "if you don't hear it the first time, it will come around again".

  Ultra Cool Modern Retreat!

  We were a couple with one dog and very much enjoyed our stay at the very modern Triangle House. It is surprisingly private even though it's close to the road (North St. is a very quiet side street). The indoor sun room is great for morning coffee ...and still has the wonderful scent of cedar from the interior siding (in that space only). Beds are very comfortable and the linens are all high quality. House is very well designed, modern and artfully decorated. No carpets really help to keep this place super clean (couldn't tell there were ever other dogs in the place, except for the giant metal water bowls in the closet!) The free-standing gas fire place adds to the warmth and ambiance. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Bring your double ended iPod plug or Cd's for the stereo provided. Gentle 3 block walk to town (slight hill). We will certainly return to Triangle House! We had sunny days in early February! Winter special pricing helped to make this an excellent value!
