Having rented close to a dozen different properties along the coast over the years we found Pelican Landing to be the most modern. most comfortable, and cleanest of the bunch. Very well managed and maintained by the rental company and the nice amenities made the experience all the more pleasant.

We stayed here with another couple and our dogs. The house is beautiful, and we cooked grand meals in the well appointed kitchen and outdoor grill. Loved being able to walk our dogs to the beach. Would definitely come back.

We were a group of three couples, each with a child age 1 or 2. The home was very kid-friendly -- loved the wagon, the beach toys and the side deck where the kids played. The only downside I can think of is that one of the bedrooms is on the main floor, and if you have a child who is a light sleeper in that room, all of the adults who stay up at night will have to keep their voices down. This wasn't a big deal for us, though. We kept each other in check if our voices got too loud.
The home was also clean, and everything was in good repair. I can't speak for the other beds, but I slept in the king bed in the master, and it was quite comfortable.
We loved that it took only five minutes (a long block and a half) to get to a lovely beach.

This place exceeded my expectations. It was well stocked throughout and had a number of touches that reflected the hospitality and thoughtfulness of the owners. We were a group of multiple families so the foosball table, the movies, toys and books for the kids were really helpful in making everyones stay that much more fun and comfortable.I would love to rent this place again and also use the same property management company for their professionalism and friendliness.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Pelican's Landing! The house was beautifully maintained and the kids loved the food ball table. Since it was a rainy weekend, the tall windows and airy feel really made hanging out at home wonderful. Plus the beach is only a block away,so when the whether turns you are close to shelter!
This home is nicely decorated, contemporary but also very warm with rustic pottery and nice baskets. The accommodations are excellent- super comfy beds with nice linens, fluffy towels, and big enough television for family movie night. For children, there are very nice bunk and trendle beds, great toys (puzzles, games, books), and our kids' favorite was the foos ball table. Finally, we enjoyed a little campfire each night in the firepit. Such fun!
On the downside, it's a bit of a hike to the beach for kids. But, the distance protected us from high winds during our stay. And, we don't have pets, so the fuzzy white dog hair we kept discovering on our jackets and any blankets that dropped on the living room floor was annoying. I'm sure it had been vacuumed, but the jute-type rug holds that kind of hair. Read more
