Corru Gate Accommodation is stylish and different. City chic meets country style in these architecturally-designed, contemporary lifestyle cottages. Set in 7 acres (2.4 hectares) of Nelson paradise near Mapua seaside village, family-friendly Corru Gate and Copper Gate have a distinctive NZ flavour - dark stained board and batten, corrugated iron and smart sustainable design. Barn red detailing, railway sleepers, sunny colours, harakeke (flax), ferns and koru add to the kiwi styling.

The cottages are built and maintained around sustainability principles - and celebrate art and design. Discover our open spaces, park-like grounds, birdlife...Read more

Additional Location Information

2 stunning homes. Gorgeous location on 2.4 ha of trees, orchards and farm/parkland overlooking and 3km from sea midway between Nelson and Abel Tasman National Park (both 25 min away). Set in olive and vineyard country near Mapua seaside village with potteries, galleries, cafes, walks, cycle trail, golf courses and beaches right nearby. Being at the very hub of Nelson's wineries means cycling to Neudorf or Woollastons is a must-do. Brand-new Copper Gate (4 bdrm/2 bthrm eco-home) sits on a warm, north-facing knoll with rural and mountain vistas and views to Tasman Bay. Arty Corru Gate (3bdrm) overlooks a citrus orchard and a pa harakeke heritage flax garden. "Corru Gate – what a lovely spot, and NO TRAFFIC NOISE!! We have so enjoyed the cottage with its lovely touches of style while being so very homely. And excellent location too – Rabbit Island has been a total highlight (we almost had the entire beach to ourselves!) as well as just minutes from fantastic wineries, the amazing Mapua wharf with it's cafes and art galleries and boutique brewery - and Nelson city is only a short drive away” D &D;, Brooklyn, Wellington
