What a spacious lovely apartment. We are a family with 2 young children and fact that the apartment was on the ground floor, situated directly in front of the pool was a huge bonus as the kids could go back and forwards to the pool area and apartment. We went in March so unfortunately the pool was freezing but my daughters still ventured in!
The owners of the apartment have thought of everything - hairdryers, dvds, books, fully equiped kitchen, washing marchine, iron. All rooms as so spacious with good quality fittings.
If you like golf the view outside is directly over the 5th hole and we spent a lot of time just watching the golfers play. -

I stayed with my wife and grown up daughter in January and February at this apartment and the apartment is very spacious and comfortable with natural stone bathrooms and floors and very well equipped and has a large South facing terrace with great views of Gibraltar and the mountains of Morocco on clear days. The weather was mostly sunny and the outside space was much used despite being a Winter let. The location is very peaceful but absolutely ideal being only fifteen/twenty minutes drive from Puerto Banus/Marbella. I would have no hesitation in returning to this apartment or recommending this to anyone. The owner,Mrs Helen Fox,was practical, helpful and efficient in dealing with all the necesssary arrangements

I stayed with my wife at Helen and Garry's apartment in September. Tee 5 at Los Flamingos is a lovely apartment spec'd out to the highest standard. It is spacious and the outdoor area is great. The shared pool is large and was very peaceful - the only sound being golf balls pinging off tee 5 as we relaxed on our sun beds poolside! There were lovely quiet beaches 15 minutes drive away and 5 minutes further puerto banus, a great place to watch people, fast cars and luxury yachts! Overall a lovely holiday.

We loved its location on the ground floor with easy access to the pool and the children have already asked to return. The apartment made it an extremely pleasant holiday for us. The kitchen was exceedingly well stocked with utensils and everything worked well. These days too wifi (sadly?) seems to be an essential ingredient of a holiday villa/apartment so it was excellent that this was available.
We went to the Villa Padierna a couple of times - using their health spa facilities and golfers' snack bar - all of it was very elegant. We only found out on the last day that there were facilities we maybe could have used at the beach straight down the hill so that might have been useful to know. I didn't play golf though as it was way too hot and I don't do early mornings on holiday! In august a hire car is a definite necessity but I was always going to hire one so that wasn't an issue for us.
I think the only issue we did have was that the bed in the main bedroom was way to soft for our taste. One of us turning over in the middle of the night effectively woke the other one up. We got used to it though.
We liked the resort a lot and I would have no hesitation in returning if we decide to re-visit the area for future holidays. -

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Los Flamingos.
The apartment was everything and more we hoped it would be.
Very luxurious yet supremely comfortable.
How often do you go on holiday to be disappointed by the standard of accommodation. Not so in this case.
Lots of leather and natural stone bathrooms and floors.
Lovely crockery and every pot and pan you can think of.
The location is lovely and peaceful yet close to everything too.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful apartment to anyone.
I intend to return at the later part of the year. -

We found this to be a piece of paradise, the apartment its self is stunning with fabulous views.
I own a resort in the Caribbean so I see wonderful views all the time, this location in Spain it fantastic, booking was very easy I just emailed the owner we spoke on the phone and everything was arranged.
They have someone that is there in Spain that you can contact if you need anything, washing done etc etc.
Cleanliness, when we arrived the place was spotless, you could not ask for more, there is a swimming pool approx 20 yards from the patio which is worked on and kept clean all the time
I would highly recommend this place to anyone. -

Stayed in this lovely apartment for 1week with my husband and 19month old daughter, and it was just fantastic! Wish we had booked 2! The apartment was very much home from home, the kitchen was very well equipped. The terrace was fantastic, plenty shade for the little one, but also a great sun trap for us. Very safe as small wall and gate to keep little ones in! We requested a high chair and travel cot, which were perfect. The hills kept us fit with the buggy! A car is a must I think, but so many places to go within a 10 minute or less car ride. The golf courses looked lovely. Will definately recommend this to our friends looking for a high end spec accommodation! We will defo return!

The apartment was pristine! Everything had been catered for. The pics do not do the apartment justice! You will not be let down. Superb views of La Villa Padierna and Golf courses.

Our holiday was excellent,the apartment was as lovely I hoped and everything was perfect. Location was good, about 12 km from Marbella centre. We all slept very well and spent good time there. I would like to visit Spain and apartment (if it's possible) next year again, I liked it very much.

Great apartment with loads of space. Big lounge, kitchen and terraced patio area with fab.views and smart pool.
Good for us for access to several fine golf courses.
Quiet, but within easy reach of local restuarants.
A car I would think is essential as the location which catches the views is a mile up the hill off the motorway.
Overlooking the golf course in a gated, security controlled area, along with other apartments put ones mind at rest.
Good meet and greet to show you round. Would have liked to have stayed longer. -

We have stayed at a number of different places over the years, where upon arrival the standard of the accommodation bore little resemblance to the pictures posted on the internet, however on this ocassion everything was just as described.
The apartment has everything to make your stay as relaxing as possible - a complete "home from home".
There are beautiful views from the patio and lovely sunsets on an evening and during our time there it was lovely and peaceful.
Helen was also a pleasure to deal with and we look forward to our next visit.

We had our first family holiday at this beautiful rental apartment with our 9 month old daughter. It was everything we were hoping it would be. In fact it was even better!
The apartment itself is very spacious, well equipped with internet, tv, stereo and even board games when you are not lazing about the gorgeous pool area!
The owner was lovely to deal with and her agent was very helpful to us on our arrival and throughout our stay.
It was hard to leave. Can't wait to return again. Muchas gracias! -

The standard of service my family received during our stay in Los Flamingos was truly exceptional.
We were greeted on arrival by Helen's representative in Spain. Pauline was extremely pleasant and helpful answering any questions we had and showing where everything we needed could be found. Pauline visited us several times during our stay to ensure there were no problems.
The apartment itself was extremely well equipped and is truly a home from home. We travelled with 2 young children. The apartment not only catered fully for adults but children also. Helen had lots of plastic cups and a plastic jug for juice which was so useful when spending days by the pool. Every utensil you could possibly need could be found in the kitchen!
The Complex itself is extremely secure and cannot be entered without a key fob which was extremely comforting. Helen's apartment also has an alarm and safe.
If you wish to stay indoors there is a falt screen tv with sky and a dvd player and there are even board games!
The apartment is situated perfectly for families who are looking for a nice relaxing holiday. We hired a car from the airport, the trip to the apartment is about 50 mins on a direct route. There is a great supermarket within a 5 minute drive where you can get everything you need.
Estepona is only a 10 minute drive and has a huge supermarket, a bit like Tesco where you can even buy electrical goods and clothes!
The complex has several pools for use all of which are kept extremely clean. The complex is finished to a very high standard with amazing plants and shrubs.
The garden area surrouding the apartment was ideal for the children to play on when they came out of the pool.
What I probably valued most of all is the feeling of security on the complex and knowing that the children could play safely around the apartment.
I could not recommend visiting this apartment highly enough and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

This is a beautiful and spotlessly clean appartment.The patio is great for sunbathing or sitting in the shade.The swimming pool is right next to the patio.It feels like it belongs to the apartment,and there was never more than 2 or 3 people in the very large pool at any one time.
The view was stunning overlooking the golf course and the beach was only 5 minutes drive away.
This was by far the best accomodation that we have ever stayed in. -

We had a lovely stay at los flamingos. The location is great and found booking and arrival at the apartment very straightforward. The golf resort the apartment overlooks is absolutely stunning and we were very lucky in the respect the other apartments beside us were unoccupied so we almost had a private pool! Was too cold unfortunately to swim but nice to sit out on the warmer days. This apartment has pritty much everything you could ask for and things like leaving a local restaurant guide for guests is a nice touch. We ate at a few recommended and they were really good. We would definitely like to return here!

El apartamento es realmente de lujo. Tiene todo lo que se puede pedir en cuanto a comodidades e instalaciones (tv, lavadora, frigorifico, lavavajillas, etc.). Limpieza y decoración estupendas. Realmente un 5 estrellas.
La única "pega" puede ser que el coche es imprescindible. Queda bastante lejos de la playa, por lo demas, todo de maravilla. -

Looks just like the pictures. Really close to shopping and the beach. San Pedro is close by and a lot of fun (just don't drive there on a fesitvial day).
The binder of things to do and restaurants was really helpful and spot on.
We lucked out - nobody else was in the complex so it really was paradise but you will like it if there are neighbours.
This was a great end to our trip. 10 days in the Spanish cities and then all the comforts of home in a location that screams comfort and luxury.

What you see in the pictures is exactly what you will get and more!
The kids had a wonderful time, the weather was perfect and the apartment was extremely comfortable and very well maintained.
We had everything we needed in the kitchen, we had free wi-fi plus sky tv with freeview!
You definitely need a car though to get around, or taxis (quite cheap).
We thoroughly enjoyed this apartment and felt as though we were home, that's how comfortable we were!
There was a/c and heating and the terrace is lovely with fantastic views. We enjoyed it so much, that we've already booked it again for april!!!

A beautiful apartment in a quiet location for those who like to be away from the usual beach front location.
A car is essential to fully appreciate the surrounding area and to access local restaurants and supermarkets.
The apartment is well equipped and maintained and is of a high standard. This is not a location for those who like to walk to the beach or 'promenade'. It was perfect for peace and tranquility with a great book!
We can highly recommend the restaurant Playa Bella just 8 mins in the car from the apartment. A great apartment with a 5* restaurant, both worthy of a return visit!

Have stayed in the apartment now on three ocassions so pretty much found our perfect holiday location. Excellent spot with beautiful views, swimming pool is a 5 metre walk (!) and the overall feeling of being in the apartment is one of true relaxation. The location allows you to do as much (or little) as you want with some great sightseeing, eating, shopping in nearby towns and villages... even a zoo 15 minutes drive away. Thoroughly recommend this apartment which itself superbly presented to high standard and offers very comfortable, relaxing holiday stay - a home from home.

The directions we received were spot on and we were met, as advised, on
arrival and taken to the property for a brief run-through of the
accommodation and local amenities. The apartment was more than we could
have imagined and fully equipped with absolutely everything we needed.
Local shops are within walking distance and the views from the apartment
were outstanding! A perfect holiday. Pure luxury - would definitely go

The apartment is situated in a scenic, tranquil location. Making it an ideal choice for a relaxing holiday. It is furnished to a high standard and is very spacious with luxury bathrooms. It is ideally situated on the ground floor with access to the swimming pool immediately outside your own front garden. My family and I have stayed her on three occasions and will be returning again this year !

A really fabulous home from home. My husband and I stayed for a week and didn't want to leave.
The breathtaking views, opulent apartment and the excellent location made for a truly relaxed and enjoyable week away.
Booking the apartment directly through the owners was really easy. Getting there from the UK was equally so with so many flight options flying either in to Malaga or Gib.
Loads to do, we took in a few markets and had some nice dinners...we were only sorry we didn't have the time to take advantage of the massive terrace with a BBQ. Maybe next time.
We absolutely recommend this apartment and are sure the next guests will enjoy it as much as we did.

After an easy drive from the airport (wise to hire a car), we were
greeted & shown to the apartment which was absolutely breathtaking. When
you step outside and see just how amazing the pool area and the view is
you feel instantly relaxed.
The bedrooms are a good size and the
bathrooms are to a high spec with everything you need. The kitchen area
is big with all the utensils and cooking facilities needed (you have 2
supermarkets 3mins drive away). You have a great TV with plenty of SKY
channels and seating for 6 easily.
One of the best things about this
apartment is not only the fact that the pool area is just off the
terrace but also the view is uninterrupted and vast; beautiful by day
and by night. You also get the sunshine for most of the day.
Our
holiday flew by and we can't wait to go again. Maybe next time we’ll
go out more often to see all the surrounding areas as we were just too
relaxed to do that this time.

We had a fabulous time here. The flat is really high spec, we felt quite spoiled. We had lovely evenings barbecuing on the terrace as the sun went down, with green views over the golf course and towards the sea. Plenty to do in the local area, lots of excellent shops, restaurants and markets to explore. Some very pretty hill towns are a short drive away, and we did a day trip to Grenada which was manageable. Next time we will go to Seville.
I would recommend you hire a car, although there are plenty of local taxi firms that are not overpriced.
It's easy to reach the apartment from either Malaga or Gibraltar airports, so just go with whichever gives you the cheapest flights.
We will definitely be going back. A (luxurious) home from home. -
