Additional Location Information
The Circle O Lodge is an Olinger family property. Now you know where O in Circle O comes from! What about W2P? W2P stands for "Welcome to Paradise" and that is precisely what we want to offer you as a guest at the Circle O... your own little paradise!
The Circle O Lodge was, from the outset, meant to be a natural setting where our family and friends could gather for reunions and outings. It is also our mission to provide a reasonably priced location for families wanting to escape the city or provide their children or grandchildren a real county experience. .
Being good stewards of the land is another of our missions and for this reason we have worked closely with the Missouri Department of Conservation and the the American Tree Farm System (ATFS) , a division of the US Forest Foundation to receive the ATFS certification as a Certified Family Forest and Certified Tree Farm. We continue to work with the Missouri Department of Conservation on various programs such as reforestation, wildlife habitat improvement and riparian improvement. We are continually researching ways to replenish the property with indigenous flora that will return the area as much as possible to its natural state making it even a more truly unique outdoor country experience.
While staying at the Circle O you might want to visit several attractions within reasonable driving distance such as:

Warrensburg MOQuiet Hidden Retreat!!
Left on 04/30/2013 for a stay in April 2013
The Circle O Lodge is our new favorite place for rest and relaxation along with the opportunity to enjoy all that nature has to offer! Everything at the Circle O met or far exceeded our expectations.
The scenery is spectacular! The beautiful cabin sits way back from the gravel road which makes you feel as though you are miles away from everything. Even though the weather didn't cooperate with us enough to be able to enjoy much hiking, fishing or morel hunting we still had a wonderful time.
We enjoyed watching the birds come up to the bird feeder while we were having our coffee each morning. It was especially nice that there is no television in the cabin! If you are looking for the hustle and bustle of city/tourist type lodging--- this is not it!
If you truly love nature and peaceful serenity this is your place to go!!!

Thank you Krista and Richard for your great review. We are very pleased that even without the benefit of fair weather you still found the CirclenO to meet your expectations. We hope to see you again in the fall and bring Max along he will have a great time!

During a recent visit to the States, we were fortunate enough to stay at the Circle O Lodge. It remains the highlight of our trip.
The Lodge is in an incredible setting - a large wooded plot, complete with pond, and even (if you're lucky enough to spot them) birds of prey and deer. Immaculately maintained, with great fixtures and fittings, the lodge feels like a real home from home. It offers a chance of escape from the hectic concerns of everyday life.
Michael is a wonderful host and we couldn't have felt more welcome. I'd really recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a break in the country; what's more, it is a great place to experience some unbeatable Marceline hospitality.Response from michael & ximena O - 04/30/2013

Thanks very much Jonathan for your comments on the Circle O Lodge. We really enjoyed having you as our guests and hope that you will come back to visit us again when traveling our part of the USA.

An exalting destination with nature, privacy, and all the modern amenities. It truly feels like you are miles from civilization; but really you are only minutes away from Walt Disney's, "Main Street USa".
A serene setting with a majestic view of natural beauty at it's finest.
Manicured paths for nature walks, we found deer tracks and rubs.
Birds perch on the front porch. We were able to observe & looked up the bird species with out leaving the great room.
A fire pit on the ridge for roasting marshmallows; while checking out the wet lands below with 30 plus wild turkeys putting & clucking on the hill side.
Perfect for all occasions; family, friends, or a private get-a-way for two!

We stayed here for a girls' scrapbook weekend. What a wonderful place! Lots of sleeping space for all us. And plenty of room to bring everything for our scrapbooking needs.
It is far enough away from everyday life to be very productive. But close enough to town incase you forget to bring something like the milk!
The walking trails were an excellent break from our work. We even got to take some great pictures for the next scrapbook weekend!
The cabin had everything you could ask for. The fireplace and internet were very nice additions to the weekend. Lots of plug ins for all of the electrical scrapbook supplies!
The whole weekend was awesome!
Thank you Circle O for such a wonderful place!!Response from michael & ximena O - 11/26/2012

Stayed at this cabin with my girlfriend for a weekend away in October. We have done the cabin rental at a number of places now, and this is by far the best rental we have seen. The location is great, very quiet with plenty of room for us to hike around and enjoy the fall scenery with our dogs. We did some fishing in the pond, took a few walks around the wetland, and used the skeet thrower to shoot some clays. The cabin is just as nice on the inside as the scenery is outside. Really enjoyed the weekend.

Very neat Cabin that over looks natures cutest pond ever. My family and I had the most enjoyable time at this cabin. The cabin was toddler friendly for my 2 year old and the scenery looked like something off a Thomas Kinkade Painting ("Evening in the Forest"). The kids could feed the fish - Very neat to watch. I can't say enough to give this place the praise it deserves.
The Owners are very nice people and made sure we had everything to make our vacation pleasant. The cabin came stocked with staple items - this came in handy.
We will definitely be staying here again - 5 stars or 5 Diamond award.

Thanks Steve and Suzy for taking the time to send in your comments about your stay at the Circle O Lodge. You will be happy to know that the wild turkey population is growing! It looks like we might have two gangs of turkeys roaming the Circle O. We have also stocked the Rock Pond with Channel cats and bass... and we started a Bob White Quail habitat program.
When you feel the need to get out into the countryside again, please keep us in mind.
Until then,

Our stay at the Circle O was the perfect getaway from the grind of urban living. During my summer escape from the big city, there were many activities for everyone to enjoy. Fishing in the fully stocked pond, shooting clay pigeons, and long beautiful nature hikes just to name a few. After being outside in the summer heat we were welcomed by the beautiful air conditioned cabin. It has everything you need while your away. Including a great kitchen, beds for everyone, and even internet connectivity. My family and I will definitely be returning in the future and plan on making it an annual trip!

If you want to experience Wilson Rawls' Ozarks, then this is the place to stay. Settled on the end of a long windy drive, is a lovely cabin which has all the amenities of home. We hiked around the property, shot clay pigeons, had relaxing dinners around the most amazing long table (yes the kitchen is amazing! there's evena waffle maker!, and enjoyed the quaint downtown area. If you want to relax and unwind, then this is the palce for you. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well-appointed, and there is plenty of hot water for an army of people (which we were!). The owners of the property are extremely gracious and it is obvious byt he maintenance and upkeep thath they take great pride in this vacation home. Thankfully there is no TV! We will definitely be going back!

Our stay at the Circle O Lodge was amazing. I was there over the Easter weekend. The weather was a touch rainy, but the sun did shine a bit and we did alot of hiking and exploring on the 60 acre property. We also discovered that the morel mushrooms were in season and collected dozens of beautiful morels. We ate fancy morel mushroom omelets and still had plenty to take home.
We saw whitetail deer, turkeys, every sort of songbird you can imagine, as well as flowers of all kinds. We didn't fish, but the pond is stocked if we had wanted to try our luck.
In short, this was the perfect setting for our personal retreat and I can't say enough good things about the Circle O Lodge. Clean, quaint, and built in a beautiful little slice of heaven. I recommend it highly!

My visit to the cabin at the end of winter was an incredible experience that I will always remember. During my stay I had the time to relax and enjoy a wonderful place full of wildlife and spectacular landscape. In Colombia we are not used to get any snow at all, so it was unbelievable when we got almost 20 inches. We had the chance to walk through the woods, over frozen ponds and also do some sliding which was really fun. The cabin is very comfortable and has everything needed to have a very pleasant stay
