Description from the manager

The villa lies in a very panoramic position opposite the island of Capri, with a view of the entire Gulf of Naples, of the islands of Ischia and Procida, and of Naples all the way to Vesuvius. It stands on the Sorrento peninsula in the village of Marciano just 2 kms from Massa Lubrense, where the lemon trees and olives slope gently down towards the crystal-clear blue sea. The external area consists of panoramic terraces furnished with living-areas, relaxation areas, tables for dining outside and a beautiful garden, where they have made a large private swimming-pool (8x12m) and part of the garden has been equipped with games for children. The... rocky coastline of the promontory separates two lovely inlets where you will find some narrow roads that lead to the sea. At the port of Massa Lubrense called Marina della Lobra, you can hire small boats and you can also hire exclusive trips by boat with a guide for the whole day for some fascinating days out.

Ground Floor: kitchen, dining area and living-room with access to a panoramic, furnished external area, passage to the swimming-pool and sunbathing terrace, 1 double bedroom with 1 ensuite bathroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 bathroom with bath-tub.

First Floor: covered external area furnished with tables, chairs and easy chairs, 6 double bedrooms with 6 ensuite bathrooms of which 5 have showers and 1 has a bath-tub, 2 double bedrooms which share a bathroom with shower, access to the external area at the rear and passage to the swimming-pool and sunbathing terrace.

Second Floor: 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, living-room, kitchen with access to the terrace furnished with tables and deckchairs. Laundry.

Available Amenities: air-conditioning in all of the rooms, satellite-TV in all of the rooms on the first floor and in the living-room, dishwasher, washing-machine, internet access, private swimming pool (8m x 12m, open april 3- October 30), and barbecue.

  Outstanding. Staying at Villa Procida was a wonderful experience for our entire family. Everyone enjoyed the pool, the outdoor sitting areas, the dining area and the magnificent vistas from the porch.
  
  Many things stood out about this villa, but the vista was a winner. We could see the Isle of Capri, local villages, Sorrento and far off in the distance, Naples and Vesuvius.
  
  The views were great. It was easy to get to Sorrento and there were plenty of other options for visiting Amalfi Coast towns or Capri. We enjoyed visiting the small groceries and shops near our villa and in Massa Lubrense. We also like visiting Marina Di Cantone.

  Excellent. The property was plenty large to hold 15 people. We could all be together and yet if someone wanted a little time alone, there was room to be by himself/herself.
  
  The swimmming pool area was fantastic. The pool was large, nicely sloped for depth and there were plenty of chairs for everyone.
  Also, the patio area where we ate everyday - be it lunch or dinner - was huge. We had a table set for 15 and it was a wonderful gathering spot. There was plenty of room elsewhere on the patio for drinks, cards, etc.
  The dishwasher! It has a 2 1/2 minute cylce. As such, it was very easy to clean up after meals and we always had a clean kitchen. With 15 people the ability to quicky run dishes and keep the process going was huge.
  Finally the views of Capri were stunning.
  Oh, please extend our thanks to Pasquale who stopped by every evening to check on us, answer questions and assist with any reservations needed.
  
  Personally, I only had one hot shower. Perhaps the hot water only went on at 6:30 am? I felt like I was at camp.
  The kitchen was difficult to work around - poor layout. However, it was well stocked with the exception of horrendous knives.
  The washing machine has a TWO HOUR cylce. This inhibited people from getting wash done when we were on the move and someone else already got their wash in at 700 am.
  
  Beautiful views. The whole settng was very relaxing.

  Wonderful!
  
  Individual bathrooms and AC unit. Daily maid service. Pool and property - lemon trees, foliage.
  
  No common inside living area. Getting up the driveway was a challenge.
  
  Very picturesque and quiet.
