I would rent this again if it were priced as a one bedroom. I didn't realize until my guests were about to arrive how bad the second bedroom was.
Terrible mattresses and pillows, vertical blinds wouldn't open so room was always pitch black.
Master bedroom was OK except dirty pillows had pillow cases but no pillow covers. The view was fabulous and rest of the condo was fine
Bathroom towels were not matching. -

The Somerset building is beautiful and impressive offering two pools. The location of this unit is ideal-the kitchen was updated and the leather furniture is nice in Florida. Having mullti rental properties I was alarmed at the rusted pipe that lead to the hotwater tank which looked as if it were going to give way. The dark spotted stains in both bedrooms on carpetting, unmatched chipped dishes and dirty pillows are unacceptable.One day we got a very strong warning form the building association regarding keeping the blinds open at night (turtle season)-due to the fact that the vertical blinds were in such disrepair we were afraid that closing them could cause them to fall from the track and were threatened with a fine. The air vents in both bathrooms, the dryer vent had a couple on months of dust/lint. Those things considered would have us look elsewhere for a unit. The rental agents attitude could be described as politely disinterested.

The turtles nesting season is a law which is highly enforced to protect this endangered species. Fines levied for faulty equipment, for example the blinds in the condo, would be issued to the owner of the condo and not the tenant. The only time a guest would pay a fine would be after several warning notices and they choose not to comply. We have never experienced a fine to a condo for violation of this law. These are nice guest that have rented with us in this condo for several years and now are looking for a change. They were given the opportunity to view other condos for their next visit and we look forward to their return visit.
