Light and bright can best describe this lovely one bedroom beachfront condo. Great for a quick getaway as the Apollo condo allows for a minimum of a four night stay. Enjoy relaxing views from the balcony and even catch a glimpse of a dolphin or two out in the Gulf.

This condo has a queen bed in the bedroom and a pullout sofa in the living room.

The Apollo is located on the south end of the Island and is close to other shops, restaurants, movie theater and also The Sunset Grille restaurant which is on the ground floor of the Apollo.

Minimum stay is 4 nights.

      Needs an upgrade.

      The view is incredible as the unit balcony is full gulf front. However the unit itself is in desperate need of an upgrade. We love the apollo with the Sunset Grill and its awesome location on the beach. Next year we will be moving next door to the Sea Winds to get a nicer unit for just a few more dollars.

      The ocean was great...the condo was not

      It's disappointing that someone who is fortunate enough to own a condo on Marco Island, would not put any kind of care into it. I'm not really a very picky person, but this condo needs major updating - esp. if you are going to charge people as much as you do to stay here. The screen door, completely broken off, the "pull out" couch - folded up on me in the middle of the night (yes, it actually trapped me between the mattress/bars couch). We were told the TV was updated: nope. The kitchen counter was ripped. Bathroom wallpaper coming down. We ran out of toilet paper and had to go buy our own...the beach stuff was old/rusted and/or broken. So, what was great - listening to the ocean every evening. That was about it. The beach was lovely. We are a family who doesn't have a lot of money, so it was disappointing to save up for a vacation like this, only to stay in a dumpy condo. It's too bad owner doesn't care more about their place. Please, before you charge anyone else to stay here - make the owner update this place...could be a great place. Thanks.

      We would like to thank you for taking the time to fill out the Flipkey review. We truly appreciate your feedback regarding this property.
      We have addressed the issues to the owner and we are in contact with him to try to update as much as possible. It is my understanding that the screen door came off the track while you were in residence and someone from our office did stop by to put it back on track and we did contact a company to replace the screens altogether. You are correct in mentioning the small area under the toilet that is starting to peel from the wall and that has been brought to the owner’s attention. We provide one roll of paper towel, a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and small hand soaps in the bathroom for the beginning of the stays. As these properties are all individually owned it is then up to the guest to purchase their particular choice of paper products once the initial supply is used up.
      Our rental manager has already met the owner and they plan to update this property over the summer. It was our understanding that the owner was going to change the TVs. We can assure that it will be done before next season. We sincerely do apologize for the inconveniences that you experienced. We look forward to your next trip on Marco Island and it would be our pleasure to welcome you again.

      Wonderful beach, condo needs work

      We love Marco Island, the beach is spectacular. We had no trouble finding plenty to do in this beautiful,clean,and safe community.There are plenty of great resturants with a wide range of types of food,seafood,German,Japanese,Fusion,and good old comfort food.We are going back to Marco for a month in 2013. The condo however,had some issues.There has been no updating since it was built.There were not any beach chairs,the umbrella was made during WW II,no soap,no detergent.The bathroom was all original,even the non-working sink fauset.No internet no phone.The Opollo is an older but very nice building in a great spot.We are going back!

      My wife and I stayed at the apollo for our Honeymoon. It was a very good time. The room was very clean and the facilities were all very nice. We have no complaints. The view was fantastic. We would for sure go back.
