We own three units in the Apollo Condominium. This unit is located on the fourth floor, in the center of a ten story building and delivers the best unobstructed and private view of the Gulf of Mexico. Our other units are on the third and seventh floor. We have just newly furnished all three units inside as well as new balcony furniture. Our condo is great for newly married honeymooners, seniors looking to get away for the winter, or a great getaway for just about any age group. We stayed in the 4th floor unit and the accommodations were perfect for our needs; clean, well appointed, and on the beach! We flew into Miami (an easy to two hour drive on the Tamiami trail) and we were able to stock up at the Whole Foods in Coral Gables for enough supplies to last the week. Breakfast and lunch in the small kitchen worked out well (dinner was mostly out). The bathroom is also small, but with just my wife and teenage daughter, we were able to make it work fine. The bedroom has a very comfortable king bed with nice, clean linen. My daughter slept on the sofa bed and did not complain. The condo had everything you could possibly need; microwave, coffee maker, blender, hair dryer, etc. No wifi, which I initially thought would be a huge issue, but it was not. It also has beach chairs, cooler, and beach towels. The views are spectacular and the beach is pristine. The owner and the management company were very responsive; from the initial inquiry to check-out. Just a note, we were pleasantly surprised with a couple of the restaurants in the area, which we would highly recommend. Lee Be Fish and Verdi’s were both spectacular. We would also recommend the walking trail at the 10,000 Island Refuge. All in all, we enjoyed out stay here and would highly recommend this unit so if your looking for a low key, relaxing, margarita heavy vacation, this is the place.

You could not have a better veiw then we did from unit 705, dolphins swimming in the gulf right off the beach. Pool and hot tub area were great, easy access to the beach and the Sunset Grill was very convenient. Washer/dryer was available on each floor for small fee and the building had a great workout room looking directly onto the gulf. Unit also had chairs and beach toys, even a cart to take things to the beach--great addition. Unit was slightly dated but clean and perfect for 3 people I will definitely stay again.

I couldn't be more pleased with our accommodations. The condo was spotless and all the amenities we needed were there. Yes, it is on the small side, but just right for two people. The bed was super comfortable. The small kitchen was fully equipped, (who wants to cook on vacation!) and the bathroom was immaculate. No problems with anything actually. We felt safe at all times. We were on the 7th floor and the elevators were prompt. Plenty of room to eat in or out on the balcony. What a great view! Watching the July 4 celebration from the balconey was fantastic. The pool was very clean and not overcrowded even on a Holiday. Marco Island is a great choice for a getaway and the condo we chose was quite affordable. Very comfortable- like home away from home. I also appreciate the owner willing to rent nightly as many will not. Check in/out was easy through the rental agent. All in all, I have absolutely no complaints and am looking forward to visiting again. This condo will be first on my list of places to stay. Thank you very much!

At first we thought it was very tiny but in the morning (we arrived late) we decided it had absolutely everything you would need & want! The kitchen had everything yours at home does! We chose to eat dinners out (it was a vacation afterall) but we could have cooked anything we wanted. The lanai was great. The location was awesome for us. Away from all the gigantic resorts. It has a nice beach bar and grill with a fantastic manager. Pool area was cleaned every morning. The beach is combined with a public beach but there was always plenty of room for everyone. Having great beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella on site was a big plus.

If you are looking for a 4th floor, beachfront location overlooking the emerald gulf, and viewing sunsets every night this is definitely the place for you. The description and photos that the owner provides are accurate. You can make your meals and dine outside as you observe the ongoing activities on the beach, or go down to the Sunset Grille that is beachfront and offers a good menu. This is a perfect location for couples, and couples with 1/2 small children. If you are looking for outdoor activity there is lots to do in Marco. We spent our days doing daily beach walks, biking, swimming in the pool and beach, playing tennis with people we met at the apollo, many golf outings(excellent rates at this time), went on a 3 hour jet ski excursion to the Everglades, collecting shells on the beautiful beach, checked out the local shops, and dined at a variety of restaurants. This was our 2nd time staying at this location, and have recommended it to family and friends.

Easy to find check-in location with a short and straight drive to the condo. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the spectacular views. It will take your breath away. Condo was the perfect size with a restaurant located on the first level. I would recommend this vacation spot to friends and family without hesitation. Ideal spot!

My husband and I rented a lovely one-bedroom condo belonging to Karin Minnier at the apollo. We arrived to find a very clean, very welcoming oceanfront place with gorgeous views and wonderful breezes coming through the balcony doors. We had only to drop off our luggage and head straight downstairs to either the pool or beach! Beach towels and other necessities came equipped in the storage room attached to the condo, so we had no extra baggage for the beach to carry on the plane or go and buy once we got to our destination! We had a nice cocktail on our balcony and some snacks from our kitchen, which was completely organized and equipped for any cooking we might want to do...we opted to go out for dinner but were pretty tired and it was no problem...we took the elevator down to the Sunset Grille at apollo, which is aptly named...we watched many a sunset there or on the beach but the views were spectacular morning and evening from our balcony! We enjoyed the king size bed, which was comfortable and pleasantly decorated. Our furnishings were all tropical themed and in excellent condition, nicely furnished. The location of the condo is ideal...we were within walking distance of many good restaurants and plenty of covered, safe parking right at the condo. Every day we would get up and go for a walk and hang out on the beach, grab a drink at the beachfront bar if we wanted, too! It was nice to just get up and go back to the condo right from the beach if we needed anything, very convenient! We liked the Gulf views and being oceanfront the best...the least thing we liked was having to leave at the end of our wonderful week! You can do as much or as little as you like on Marco and the apollo suits either choice. We loved it so much we are joining my sister, her husband, their son and his family and my niece...all at the apollo again in Feb 2012! We plan to make this an annual event!
