The social great room is beautiful with a large fully equipped Kitchen, TV room, two dining areas, patio dining area, power room bath, private elevator into condo, covered parking and just a stroll to Pier 81 private marina/fishing pier. All you need to do is arrive with your suitcase and start making memories.

Need More Memories; by request arrange with the Captain/Owner to take you on his 52 ft. Yacht and tour the beautiful inter-coastal waterways to the Gulf of Mexico. Then imagine arranging a day of fishing with the owner/captain/fishing guide, on his fishing boat. You will be fishing in the famous waterways of Marco Islands and boarding at your dock, this too is possible; as the fishing boat is provided and docked next to the yacht....the only additional cost to you for the boating is fuel, captain and fishing guide services. If owner is not available he will give you directions for these services at local boat tours and rental marinas nearby.

Not enough living large? Then have a day at Marco's many world class pristine beaches just a short distance away. Part of the Penthouse package is a private resident beach pass to one of the area’s most exclusive beach. We also offer use of beach gear, bikes and kayaks. A mini-van for your use can be discussed. Our place is all about memories!

The Penthouse Views: From the wrap around patio, 360 degree panoramic views from balcony's and every interior room, a private marina, inter-coastal waterways, the 10,000 Island Chain, the Gulf of Mexico, sunrises and sunsets, passing sea life, a sanctuary of Florida birds and Pelicans flying in formation so close to your balcony you could reach out and touch them.

Day or night the views are spectacular as you see boats arriving from around the world and activities of the City. This is far different then looking out into a black hole of beach locations. ..

About the Penthouse: Three large suites. Two master suites with King Beds and Jacuzzi tubs. The 3rd suite complete with 2 Queen Beds. And, the 4th Bedroom is an conversion room with Queen Sleeper sofa. This Penthouse has the feeling of the tropics, professionally and tastefully decorated. The great room has a full entertainment center, remote Internet service, fully appointed see details. The living area is spacious with wrap around patio's that extend the living space and offer views from every angle. Large modern kitchen fully equipped and dining areas large enough for a family gathering. The Penthouse has its own private garage next to the lobby entrance.

Pier 81 Complex Amenities: A unique development with just a small number of units gives the feeling of privacy. The private attached marina offers board walks, views of luxury yachts, two private pools, hot tub, tennis courts, private fishing pier, a fitness center and entertainment area for guests. You are in a just short walking distance to Rose River Marina or a 5 minute drive to the many wonderful beaches of Marco. Rose River Marina offers daily boat rentals, tours, fishing excursions and special boat shuttle service to Key West.

Pier 81 is a close to the best of Marco's dining, theater, entertainment, shopping centers and famous beaches. It does not get any better than this. Most impressive is the exclusive, laid back and private feel of the island, yet so close to the hustle-and-bustle and high-culture of Naples.

The scenery is spectacular, the beaches pristine and the environment relaxed and family friendly. Marco has all the amenities of major Florida resorts, but without the traffic congestion or worries of a larger city. Yet all the conveniences are in walking or biking distances. No place on Marco is further than a 10 minute drive!

From the Condo just minutes away to beaches, fishing, boating, dining, shopping and relaxing. We suggest that you periodically make the 25-minute drive to Naples to enjoy live theater and symphonies.

Marco Island is a beautiful resort community surrounded by the Gulf Of Mexico, the rivers and bays of The 10,000 island chain, the Everglades and yet only a 15 minute drive from Naples, which offers the exclusive shopping, live theatre, entertainment, and all the amenities of a city.

Marco Island is also the closest destination offering a boat shuttle service to Key West, and is only 1-1/2 hour drive to Ft. Lauderdale or Miami. Marco Island has all the amenities of world class beaches, restaurants, live entertainment, fishing and boating, etc. without ever having to leave the island. Everything is accessible by car, bike or walking within 10 minutes without the stress of driving in traffic or getting lost.

Additional notes from owner

There is a 10% tax on rentals. Owner will give additional rates for boating tours. There are no addional charges for guest up to 8 people... The renters must be adults. The owner will consider deduction in rates, for those that rent multible months.

  We spent a magical month at Pier 81 Penthouse.

  The beautifully decorated apartment has floor to ceiling windows all the way around, providing constant views of the changing skyscape. Every morning, we awoke to the sunrise from our bed. Every evening, we made sure we were home in time to watch the sunset performance from the comfort of the west lanai. The ospreys, pelicans, and magnificent frigates entertained us as they sailed by at eye level all day long.
  
  The luxurious space was perfect for our family gathering to celebrate my mother-in-law's 80th birthday. The two master bedrooms and bathrooms are huge. The other two rooms are more normally sized, and share a full bathroom. We ate most meals outside, where there is a large dining table, as well as a small high top table for lunch or breakfast. We easily cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the fully equipped kitchen.
  
  We have been to the Fort Myers area four times. Marco is more casual than Naples, yet has great restaurants. The grocery store is less than a mile away and had pretty much everything we needed. We often rode our bikes to get around the island. And, there are several very good restaurants within walking distance of the penthouse. We went to the Marriott a few times for the experience of being waited on beachside. We kayaked on Tigertail beach, rented a pontoon at the nearby Marina, and took a sailboat ride another day. Compared with Sanibel, Marco is more built-up, but has beautiful beaches and more activities for kids. We did spend a day biking on Sanibel. We also went to the Everglades and to Corkscrew Sanctuary. And, of course, the guys enjoyed a few days of golf.
  
  I am struggling to find something negative to say to provide a credible critique. I have to say that it was expensive. And, Marco Island was populated with more seniors than I expected.
  
  Steve could not have been more helpful or responsive. We are grateful to have had the chance to enjoy our family in such a gorgeous place.
