This is the second time we have stayed here. The views are breathtaking, very quiet location. Very comfortable home (beds in particular) and well equipped. Any issues dealt with very promptly. Really enjoyed cycling around the island.

We frequently prefer renting a home for vacation because we like our privacy, and this house was our absolute favorite so far. We highly recommend it- we just loved this home. I'd love to buy one just like it for everyday living!
This is a beautiful property. I'd say that although it looks pretty in photos, the home exceeded our expectations in terms of looks and amenities- websites really don't do it justice. The furniture is very lovely, it is well-maintained, pool is beautful, the beds are comfortable, its a great layout, too! The high ceilings add to the open feel. We arrived to find it clean & neat as a pin.
If you have older folks in your party or people who have difficulty with mobility or use a wheelchair, I'd say this house is especially good for them. My mother was with us on this trip, and she has some major difficulties with stairs (bad knees). This place was great because all of the living space is basically on one level. The rest of the family used the upstairs bedrooms, and she never had to go up any stairs at all. Her shower didn't even require her to step up to get in. (But by no means does it seem like a specially modified home! Its a perfect place for lots of different families!)
The kitchen was nicely appointed, well-decorated and a pleasure to cook in. I never felt like anything was missing when meals were prepared, which is kind of unusual when you aren't cooking in your own familiar surroundings. Excellent variety of supplies, dishes, tools, etc. Also, with the open floor plan, when you are in the kitchen, you are still able to see everyone in the great room area, the lanai and the pool. There's also a good water view from the kitchen.
The pool is wonderful and we spent most of our time in it and in the spa. It has a beautiful view- it is really nice to look out at the water from the infinity edge. The lounge chairs around it are plentiful and extra comfortable for relaxing. And when we experienced a slight, non-mechanical problem with the pool, a technician was sent immediately- within about 90 minutes, tops.
This location is quiet! Its a peaceful, relaxing cul-de-sac and the location is set well back from the main road. It feels very private. You would definitely sleep well here!
We have stayed in larger homes, some even with more amenities, but this one seemed just perfect for us and we decided it is our favorite yet. It has a really pleasant atmosphere with a beautiful open floor plan. The decor is superb- especially loved the downstairs window treatments!
Would have only one suggestion- and this is probably more of an issue with the rental agency or cleaning service than the owner, I would think. We had a really skimpy supply of some necessities. Right after our arrival, we had to purchase soap (hand, bath), toilet paper and trash bags in addition to the required dishwashing detergent and laundry soap. There was not a single extra trash bag or extra roll of toilet paper, and the rolls weren't new/full upon our arrival. (Felt a litle cheap.)This hasn't been our experience in other rental home properties at this price range, and didn't really seem in keeping with the rest of the highly positive rental experience.
I would highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed if you decide to stay here. -

This is the second time we have rented this property, and we'll likely be back next year also. The location is unbeatable, it's extremely relaxing, the house is well maintained (and clean), and the furnishings are of excellent quality...simply the best property we have ever rented in North america.
P.S. the bed pillows are a little 'tired', and could do with being replaced. -

This property way exceeded our expectations. The aspect looking over the water was fabulous. The pool area was excellent, and very sunny for December. The house was very well equipped and comfortable. Mackle park across the road also had excellent facilities.Cycling around the island was a real highlight.

Clausen Proprties provided an excellent service with rapid responses to a couple of minor issues.
The house was excellent for our purposes which was to celebrate our Golden Wedding anniversary with our daughter, son-in-law and two gradchildren. The location was great for beach walks, restaurants and the local park with its lake and club house where the children were able to play table tennis and pool etc. We particularly like the open swimming pool, the spa and infinity aspect giving a great view.Response from Clausen Properties Incorporated - 01/11/2012

We are Marco regulars but usually stay in an appt. on the beach. We brought our family with us this time, son & partner and our grandchildren. The pool was in use from 07.30 & up till 10.30. We fished every day & caught plenty from the dock in the garden. The villa was perfect & we barbecued several times. Knowing the island & having a car was a bonus, renting boats also gave us access to other beautiful beaches as well , where again the fishing was excellent. Overall just superb a perfect holiday on a perfect Island in a perfect Villa. We could want no more. Reg. Everett

The house and location were amazing. It was extremely hot and humid in July and so we spent hours just floating about in the infinity pool, watching the occasional dolphin swimming by. Unfortunately we didn't have use of a boat although there was a dock. We liked not having a screen over the pool and when we put the lights on the lanai at night we put the screen down to stop the bugs attacking us. We found the PC very useful and the sound system was brilliant for playing our Ipods through the pool speakers. The master suite bed was huge and the bed so comfortable I wanted to bring it home with me! We were celebrating Dad's 60th birthday and hope to come again in two years' time for Mum's 60th. We travelled with three kids, 24, 25 ande 28 year olds, and they all loved it. The owners are so lucky having this beautiful holiday home.

Beautiful home,spacious comfortable. We loved being in the pool and watching the dolphins play just a few feet in front of us,enjoyed grilling and watching the beautiful sunsets. July 4th was spectacular watching fireworks from the pool,very enjoyable vacaton,we have rented this house for 2 weeks next year.

The home has a great location, ample room and as you can see the pool area and lot are located beautifully allowing you to enjoy an adult beverage of your choice while mother nature puts on a timely afternoon Sunset. The home is very clean and well appointed. If you decided to rent this home you wont be disappointed, but please take care of it i'll be back.

Thid house is more than a house, it is a very warm and beautifuly decorated home. Every single detail has been taken care of. The sunset views are gorgeours. The infinity pool and the Spa a tremendous asset to the house.
We drove 5 minutes to the beach and parked at the Marriott Crystal Shores parking lot, paying $5.00, for the whole day, the beach in this part is beautiful.
We enjoyed and treasured the time we spent there. Thank you for creating such an awesome home. God bless -
