This 3,200 sq. ft. home, under air, was custom built in 1997 and completely remodeled in 2010.
There are 4 bedrooms, two of which are Master Bedroom Suites with King size beds and private full bathrooms. There are a total of 4 full bathrooms. This home boasts 10 and 12 foot ceilings and comes complete with an office/den with free WiFi access and unlimited phone service throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico for those guests who need to stay in touch with their business. This home is located on a bay like waterway with 5 converging waterways and has a Weatern Exposure for all day sun on the pool and fantastic sunsets in the evening. The two Master bedrooms are on opposite sites of the home which gives families who are sharing a vacation together privacy space. The home is located on a direct water access to the Gulf of Mexico and has lots of birds like blue heron, pelicans, egrets, owls and other types too numerous to list as well as dolphins, manatees, sting rays, snook, starfish and other marine life visible from our dock and home.

My family and I had a wonderful time in your beautiful home. The views were stunning! You and Janet have all the amenities and much more. The kids loved the large pool, as well as my husband and I. Fishing off of the dock was very enjoyable as we caught more and more fish. My husband and I have been coming down to Marco Island for over 20 years. Your house is by far the best house that we have stayed at. We are looking to return to your house as soon as possible! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

We have just returned from a week at this gorgeous home. We have used Vrbo many times and this experience was the first time that not only was the information totally accurate but the pictures didn't even do it justice! It is even more beautiful than those pictures can show! The home is clean and well equipped. The sheets and towels are lovely quality, white much like a very nice hotel. The huge living space worked well for our extended family. There are two huge master suits each with their own bathroom at opposite ends of the house. It worked out that each couple had their own bathroom (three couples). There are four different sitting areas around the screened in back deck and pool area that we enjoyed many good books. The wicker furniture is very comfortable and a favourite spot for the adults. We went for walks in the area many times. The homes' manicured gardens and waterways are a feast for the eyes. There were grapefruit trees, fig trees, bright flowers, gorgeous landscaping and interesting mailboxes (manatees, dolphins, pelicans) on the streets! Twice dolphins playfully jumped while we were around the pool. Once right by the dock where we were standing. Cooking and sociallizing is easy along the huge island the runs between kitchen and great room. John is extremely organized and informative about his and Janet's property. We had a pool heater glitch that John had solved the same day. A pool repair man came on a Saturday night at 7 p.m. That was wonderful service! Two grocery stores close by and lots of fabulous restaurants. We highly recommend Verdi's, the kids loved the Mexican restaurant Margarita's (near the WinnDixie) and Joey's pizza was great too! We also did a morning trip to the Naples Zoo. Perfect walking distances for our little grandchildren. Marco Island is a beautiful part of Florida and we highly recommend this property and John as someone to rent from. Thank you John and Janet for making your Starfish home available for rent. We will return!

Our family of six adults and two children just returned from Marco Island. We have rented houses for the past six years. Although all were lovely, this one was the best. There is plenty of space to be all together plus private areas including a very nice office. The neighborhood is wonderful and the location is excellent. My grandsons fished almost daily off the dock and always caught fish. Everyone became excited when the dolphins swam by. The house is decorated very nicely with comfortable furniture. And...the view is excellent! For our family that is very important as it makes you feel like you really are on vacation. Marco Island is a very special place and we all had a terrific time.

I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at the house on Starfish Ct. It was an absolutely beautiful house - we could not have asked for more. We have rented several houses in the Marco Island area and this home was the best!!! The outside area was inviting and that is where we spent most of our time. The pool was large enough for our "floaties", it was very warm and enjoyable. The seating area was comfortable. The outside area and the view of the waterway was beyond what we expected. We actually saw dolphins almost every morning. We are still waiting to see that elusive manatee though. The one morning we had a group of nine swim by. It was exciting to say the least. And... thank goodness the weather cooperated. We had one little rain storm and we were still able to enjoy the lanai and the rainbow that appeared after the rain. The sunsets were beautiful and different every night depending upon the clouds. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We hope to be able to come back next year.

Our family of 9 stayed in this gorgeous home. Home is bright, cheery and beautifully cared for. Loved the view from the back of the home. My kids were entertained by fishing from the dock for hours! The pool was warm and well cared for. Owners were easy to reach with any questions. You can walk to the local grocery store and home is about 2 miles from the residents beach. Quiet neighborhood. Loved the spacious lay out with the Master on one side of the house the remaining bed rooms on the other side. Wonderful time! Thanks for sharing your home!

Our family (ages 6-72) enjoyed this home over the Christmas holiday. This home is perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy the beauty of Marco Island. The home is layed out to offer privacy and yet also offers space for family activities. The views from the kitchen and bedrooms are stunning. This home is neat and clean and has an "at home" feel.We rented a boat for most of our stay and used the boat dock at the house. When we weren't enjoying the boat, we went out and expolored the beaches and restaurants in the area. This home gave us the perfect way to create lifelong memories with our family in an amazingly beautiful landscape! Thank you and would definatley recommend and will most definatley be back!

Our two week stay in this home was perfect. We had 8 people...ages 2 years to 63 years old. There was a quiet study for those who needed to teleconference or work via Internet; a quiet wing for little ones to nap or go to bed earlier; and plenty of space for the family to gather or to go to a separate sunning area to read a book. We caught at least five different kinds of fish from the dock, saw dolphin swim by several times, and even had a manatee come over to the edge and let those with longer arms reach down to "pet" it on the nose. In the area we rented a pontoon boat for two great exploring/beach days, went to the public beach numerous times, and even took an airboat ride in the Everglades to see alligator. The home was very clean and all supportive staff were cordial and helpful.
