My friend and I were looking for a budget friendly rental for 2 moms, 5 kids and 2 dogs. This home was perfect. It is accurately described in the listing and photos. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. The home is clean and well maintained. The owner supplied a binder with information regarding the house and the surrounding area. We loved the privacy of having our own screened in pool. The house is well equipped with everything needed (beach towels, grill, bikes, washer and dryer, etc.) Area beaches are just a short car ride or bike ride away. My kids loved shelling at South Marco beach and diving for sand dollars at Tigertail. If you choose to visit Tigertail be prepared (bring water shoes) to wade across a small lagoon to get to the pretty side of the beach. It is well worth the trip across the lagoon. The lagoon is shallow enough that my eight year old had no problem crossing. We went on daily bike rides and stopped at a fun park. We also visited Big Cypress National Preserve and Everglades National Park where we saw crocodiles and alligators. We only ate out once as we took advantage of the kitchen, but there are plenty of restaurants on the island. We ate at the Snook Inn. The portions are large and it is o.k. to share for a small plate charge. We also made a couple trips to Sweet annie's for ice cream. Yum!! The home owner was always very quick to reply to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone!!

Lovely home, with modern decor, yet homey enough to feel utterly comfortable. Owner Toni, is a conscientious host, who pay attention to detail, with games, videos, toys, bikes, etc. to appeal to all.
She leaves recommendations of the local sights, and restaurants.
The pool is well maintained, a nice way to refresh oneself after a day at the beach. Close to shopping, and the beaches are not far away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will be back!
