Description

You get all-day sun on the lanai and all the peace and quiet you crave with this 1,800 square foot waterfront house. It sleeps eight, with one king bed, three queens and two bathrooms. It also comes with a two-car garage. Actually, it sleeps nine if you count the dog. That’s right, this is one of the few rentals that welcomes your furry friends.

Thick clusters of palm trees encircle the lanai, making it feel like your own private tropical oasis, where the kids can play in the heated pool as you relax on sun loungers, taking in the view of palm trees reflecting off the still blue water of the canal. Just when you think nothing could possibly improve the peaceful setting, you’ll see a dolphin swim by, and maybe a manatee. For a closer look head down to your private dock, where you can sit with your feet dangling in the water getting acquainted with your new neighbors the osprey and pelicans.

The southern exposure means you get a full day of sun on the lanai, so fire up the gas grill and enjoy a poolside barbeque on the covered table, cooled by an overhead fan.

Inside, sun streams through the sliding glass doors, lighting up the white-tiled floor beneath vaulted ceilings. The light hues and tropical plants blend with the cozy furnishings to create the easygoing feel of waterfront living at its best.

The kitchen is a cook’s paradise, filled with spacious Corian countertops, white cabinets and all the modern appliances and cookware you need to prepare everything from a family dinner to cocktails to sip on the lanai as the sun goes down.

The master suite opens up to the lanai and features an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub. All the bedrooms come with televisions and ample drawer and closet space.

Think of everything you could possibly want in your home away from home and you’ll find it here. You’ve got air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, free wi-fi, cable, linens, towels and a washer and dryer. You’ve also got bicycles and beach essentials, including beach towels, beach chairs, cooler and umbrella for your short walk to the beach access point.

Other short walks take you to Marco Golf and Garden, a miniature golf course in the midst of an award-winning garden, and to the movie theaters and restaurants at Marco Island’s premier shopping destination, Marco Walk Plaza.
