spa was old and nasty, always part of the cover or seat backs floating in it.
It also needs grounded before somebody gets killed in it.
Hard for our parents to go walking with steep drive.
Pool was nice and large.
A lot of lights were out.

We have addressed the issues to the owners and we are in contact with them to try to update as much as possible. The SPA has been repaired. Our maintenance department mentioned to me that it was a bit complicated to figure out where the light switches were, so they fixed it, all lights are now labeled and working.
Yes indeed the driveway is steep, this is why on our website we put a picture from the street showing the driveway, as well as in the visual tour.
We sincerely do apologize for the inconveniences that you experienced. Our owners constantly strive to maintain their properties at the highest level of service. We look forward to your next trip on Marco Island and it would be our pleasure to welcome you again.

This house has a nice layout and space for a large family traveling together. It is private and located in a quiet, pretty part of the island.
However, the house needs some basic maintenance before it is rented out again. There was a leak in the ceiling in the living room while we were staying there. The management company sent someone over to look at it and said he was aware of the problem, but there did not seem to be any urgency on behalf of the company to fix it (luckily it never rained again while we were there). The screened in lanai has many holes in it and is coming apart at the seams in some sections, so bugs can come in once the sun starts to go down. It is my understanding that it is not very expensive to fix these screens so why the company continues to rent this house without at least fixing this issue is beyond me. Also, the house smells musty, and I think that there is very likely a mold issue in the house. I noticed that the gutters are falling apart, and are full of leaves, so that may be part of the water issue.
Overall, we had a nice time and enjoyed having the space and a pool to swim in, but I wouldn't rent it again unless the house were better maintained. -

The house was wonderful! The way the house is arranged there are private areas everywhere, also, the foliage keeps the outside area very private. The location of the house being in "The Estates" you have a large yard area. Decorated tastefully. Lots of towels & bedding provided! Also 2 hairdryers provided. We will come back to this property.

We stayed in this home about 4-5 years ago and loved it. That was why we returned this year. However, the home needs some updating! There needs to be all cordless phones in the home! the TV's should be flat screen. Currently 2 of the Tv's are older ones that have poor reception and clarity. The shower has peeling paint and there are many light bulbs out throughout the home. The pool deck has alot of chipped cement and chipped paint. The toilet and shower in the master bathroom has some draining problems and caused flooding in the bathroom. When we first came we noticed many kitchen outlets that were not working. The management was contacted and an electrician was called who fixed it. I would recommend the management do a thorough evaluation of all aspects of this property before renting it out again.
Otherwise we enjoyed the privacy and the home in general. -
