Perth, AustraliaMoldy & ants everywhere.
Left on 03/25/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Mold rotting on the inside of the front door window covering should of been our 1st clue. Opening the front door we smelled mold. Upstairs, the mold smell was even stronger.
Ants in the bathroom-toilet & shower areas & also in the bed upstairs that our daughter was suppose to sleep in. Between the ants & the mold--she ended up sleeping on the couch downstairs.
We left a day early because of what I mentioned above. No refund/compensation or even an "Im sorry" from the owner!
This was our 4th visit to Margaret River. All 3 prior locations were fantastic! -

Left on 03/03/2013 for a stay in February 2013
My husband and I stayed in a one-bedroom spa cottage, number 11, for 10 nights in February and found the cottage to be well-equipped and very private. The rooms were nicely decorated and the deck ran round 3 sides of the cottage. We overlooked a small lake, surrounded by trees, where the kangaroos visited at dusk and the ducks waddled around the deck at times! We were 5 km from Margaret River, a very nice small town with lots of galleries, wineries and beautiful beaches within a 20 km radius. Our time was very relaxing and we toured around the area, enjoying the sunshine, very good food and wine. We had our own laundry facilites which was great, also a dishwasher. The freezer was stocked with ice on arrival.

Perth, AustraliaLovely relaxing place to stay
Left on 08/31/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We've been staying here for a few days each February for the last 6 or 7 years and love the peace and quite in lovely surroundings.
The smaller units have two together but the larger villas are completely separate, giving you a feeling of privacy and seclusion.
The furniture has recently been updated and all the villas are very clean. The gardens and grounds are quite large with enough space between each villa, the gardens are always well kept and look really lovely.
Waterfall Cottages is only about 4 minutes from the centre of Margaret River so is ideally located.
It's a fantastic place to stay if your looking for a bit of peace and quiet but still want to be close to town. -

This property was most comfortable and well conceived. All units are private with nice views. The birds were beautiful and the kangaroos were most entertaining. Separate laundry facilities are most convenient.

Perth, AustraliaRelaxing and comfortable - what more could you wish for?
Left on 12/12/2011 for a stay in December 2011
Stayed here twice before, and it was starting to show signs of a lack of tlc.
However, since our last visit, a lot has happened.
New beds and bedding, kitchens revamped, furniture improved.
The setting is very peaceful - overlooking a large expanse of grass and a lake.
A waterfall is just across the road, and during the Winter, it is a raging torrent.
However, in the drier Summer months, the water level is low, and kids will want to play here all day.
We stayed in cottage number 7 and it had a great outlook.
Would definitely recommend this place to families and honeymooners.
The 6 bed cottages are completely separate and far enough away from each other to be private.
Just one note - most mobiles will not work here. But that's a good thing surely?
