Cedarwood is a lovely fully furnished frame cabin resting at the base of a wooded ridge adjoining the National Forest & only a short distance from Virginia’s award winning Hungry Mother State Park. Relax in a peaceful atmosphere with accommodations that include 2 bedrooms, kitchen & dining area, living room with a couch/bed, full bathroom, washer/dryer, satellite TV, telephone, gas grill, desk, linens, towels, & a porch w/rockers overlooking the yard & a field where deer and other wildlife are commonly seen.

Nearby Hungry Mother State Park offers a variety of recreational programming opportunities for everyone. Hiking, biking, & fishing are offered year round. During spring, summer, & fall a variety of offerings & opportunities are available in the park, but vary by season. Some of these activities or facilities include: An excellent restaurant; a boat-dock with paddleboats, kayaks, canoes, & fishing boat rentals; swimming beach with snack bar; interpretive, environmental education, music, & outdoor adventure programming; & a discovery center & gift shops to explore.
