Live in one of our 10 vacation apartments of 30-70 sq.m, with or without balcony, in the main or additional building with lake view (small pond in front of the house, with a raft on it!). The apartments feature 2-3 bedrooms, kitchenette, telephone, satellite TV. We offer sauna, solarium, bowling, table tennis, our own restaurant, a large children’s playground, pony riding, bikes, trikes, breakfast service and, to simply relax and do nothing, a nice lawn.

Our guest house is a beautiful, well-kept and quiet farmstead in great location, right between the two nature parks Fichtelgebirge and Steinwald. The small village Oberthölau is a part of the ‘shopping town’ Marktredwitz, one of the small Fichtelgebirge metropolises with a larger train station and only 4 km away.
Summer as winter, our region offers kilometer-long trails for hiking or cross-country skiing in the middle-altitude (~1000 m) mountains. You can get to Wunsiedel, town of festivals, in 10 minutes of driving, to Bayreuth, the city of Wagner, in 45 minutes and to the world cultural heritage city on the Danube, Regensburg in about an hour. From the train station Marktredwitz or by car, there are good connections into the Czech Republic with its historic spa triangle of the cities Franzensbad, Karlsbad and Marienbad.
Opening times of our gastronomy:
Wednesday and Friday from 5 p.m., Sunday and holidays from 2 p.m. Traditional cuisine and room for parties of up to 50 people.
