Gorgeous one-bedroom air-conditioned apartment with a huge terrace which has an uninterrupted view of the Atlas Mountains. Its on the fourth floor of a modern block (built in 2006) but don't worry it has a lift/elevator!
It's beautifully decorated in a European style with a touch of Moroccan magic. The large terrace is ideal for sunny breakfasts and, if you don't want to try all the incredible restaurants of Marrakech, the Moroccan lanterns can provide atmospheric lighting for intimate evening suppers.

I was so looking forward to my holiday inMarrakech and wasn't disappointed. The apartment is lovely and the owner was easy to deal with and answered all my questions before my long flight to Morocco. She also gave me lots of suggestions and advice about what to do when I arrived for which I was very glad.
Because I was ona budget but still wanted a fairly luxurious apartment I chose to stay in this one which is a little further out, approximately 15 minutes cab ride from Jemaa el Fna but the petit cabs are cheap enough. Some of the apartments which I could afford in Gueliz were just tiny pigeon-holes but this one has plenty of room, a huge terrace, and all the comforts of home. It was spotlessly cleanand the young girl who gave me the key was so friendly (the owner doesn't live on site.)
I would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to get away from the expensive tourist hotels.Response from Linda Kells - 07/10/2012

The apartment was absolutely fantastic. It's got everything you would need - plenty of kitchen equipment and lots of linen in the bedroom cupboard.
The apartment was clean, with fresh linen on the beds and plenty of towels supplied.
There is a supermarket close by and lots of local convenience stores on the doorstep. The apartment is on the fourth floor of the building (there is a lift) and has a very large terrace with a four-seater patio table and chairs - great for breakfast in the sun. There is a parking space for the apartment in the underground car park beneath the building which came in handy for our rental car as it's only a 15 minute drive to the hustle and bustle of downtown Marrakech.
Dealing with the owner was very easy. She's very professional and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to stay in Marrakech.

The owner of the flat in Marrakech made it really easy for us to rent it, explaining how to get there and what to expect etc. Although not central, it was easy to pick up a taxi for the 15 min trip, costing about 30 dhms.
The flat was beautifully clean with nice furniture,a comfortable bed with linen and towels,and a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. If you like to watch films, bring some of your own Dvds, although there is plenty to see, with lots of shops close by together with a good supermarket. One of the best features was the huge terrace, wonderful for sun bathing, with great views towards the atlas mountains.
