Hawkes Bay"Fantastic accommodation"
Left on 03/19/2013 for a stay in March 2013
My husband and I stayed here recently along with our daughter who was visiting from Melbourne. We were absolutely blown away by the presentation and the little extras such as the fresh bread, juice and lovely toiletries. The layout suited us brilliantly with us in the main house and our daughter in the adjoining accommodation. A beautiful private setting with a tasteful modern interior. Good location to the village and wineries. We didn't venture out as much as we thought we would as we were so relaxed and comfortable in the accommodation, we enjoyed just "blobbing". If I was to find any fault it would just be that the lovely deck area could just do with de-cobwebbing but apart from that I would highly recommend this property.

On entering the gate we were blown away with the setting. Lovely sunny, sheltered outdoor area. The accommodation is trendy/modern and well equipped, kitchen and furniture wise and especially great for two couples as we did. Each couple having their own privacy. We liked the touch of having a fancy loaf of bread etc waiting for us on arrival. Location was excellent within walking distance of town centre where there were some good cafes and a short drive to all the major vineyards.

Beautifully appointed, spotless & private accommodation, just a few minutes walk from Martinboroughs main square. Nice thoughtful touches such as fresh bread on arrival, and lovely cosmetic extra's and decorations make this place a bit special. Very private, we never met the owners as we did not need to, which was appreciated, when everything was perfect.

Left on 01/11/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We stayed two nights at acorns in Martinborough as we were going to the races in Tauherenikau the next day. The place is equipt with everything you may need and there was even fresh bread on our arrival.
Both the main house and studio have modern decor and are separated by a large deck. We put my parents out in the studio and the loved having their own space (as did I!).
Thoroughly recommended and I would definitely book again.

Acorns was a lovely place to stay. The house was private, with simple, tasteful decor and a well-provisioned kitchen which meant we were happy to stay in and relax, although the town square was only a short walk away.
The garden deck area was delightful and the bathroom with its deep bath and heated floor was fabulous - we really didn't want to leave.
When booking we had very prompt, helpful responses to our queries.
All in all a great stay and we would definitely recommend to friends. -

Left on 07/10/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We loved staying in this property for a midweek break with our two girls 13 and 10 years. The house was clean with good linen and high quality furnishings and thoughtful touches like breakfast supplies for the first day. Emily was great to deal with and very professional all through including returning some things that we forgot at the house when we checked out. The house is well situated from the heart of martinborough and an easy walk to everywhere in town. We are definitely coming back for another break!

From the moment we entered we felt at home. On a cold winters day it was warm and welcoming with all the amenities one would expect in a 5 star hotel and more. Great location, with cafes, restaurants and wineries all within walking distance. Thank you for sharing your home.

Left on 04/25/2012 for a stay in April 2012
Thanks Emily for making your beautiful holiday home available for rent. It was the perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the modern contemporary spacious layout of the house, tucked away on a secluded section close to the Square. It was nice waking up to warm toasty surroundings (thanks to the heat pump) even though the temp outside was just 3C. The luxurious bed linen along with the huge deep bath were winners also. Dinner at Wendy Campbell's French Bistro was a great recommendation too. We hope to return soon and would highly recommend your place to others.

My partner and I and our friends stayed at The Beaumont house for 4 nights at the end of March. The house was spotless, everything is practically brand new. The owner provides everything you need and has thought of all the small things (salt, pepper, aluminium foil, olive oil etc). She provided fresh bread, spreads, coffee, tea and juice. The kitchen is epic (everything is quality), the beds are really comfortable, and the whole vibe of the place is awesome. We felt really comfortable and relaxed for our whole stay. The outdoor area is perfect, the design of the whole place is really well done. After reading other reviews we had high expectations but these were exceeded. The owner also provides very specific information about the property and things to do, places to visit etc. I can't say enough about this place - we highly recommend!

Canberra ACT AustraliaGreat house.
Left on 03/02/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We enjoyed our stay very much. Great house. One thing we found is the bathroom was not good. No where to put your vanity and make-up. shaving gear, etc. We had to bring a chair in from the dining room. Only having a basin on its own was impractable.Eggs cups added to the kitchen would be good as well. We had our own so we were fine. Really nice touch arriving to the butter, bread which was yummy and jams. Would recommend the house to friends unfortunately we had very windy cold weather so couldn't use the outside area but that would be lovely on a sunny day.

We recently stayed at acorns in Martinborough and would highly recommend it to others. The layout of the house with the separate studio was ideal for two couples travelling together. The house was incredibly well presented and very styley. It had everything we needed which made for a very enjoyable weekend away. We'd definately stay there again.

Left on 02/18/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We stayed in Beaumont House last weekend, the layout is ideal for chilling in the sun while enjoying those hard sought Martinbourough wines!!! The property is of simple design with elegant furnishings and some very nice touches...Oj, Milk, Bread all in the kitchen when you arrive, a nice treat. A great use of open space that flows very well to an outside decking area. The mature garden surrounding the house gives you complete privacy from the street and a sail shade protects you form the full glare of the Sun. All in all very well presented, hassle free booking and access to the unit. Congratulations to the owners, my only regret was ...not booking for longer !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at acorns. Everything we could want was provided, from a welcoming breakfast on our arrival, to a comfortable and very pleasant stay. Close to Martinboroughs restaurants and pictureque golf course, in fact one day we were the only ones on the course!

Loved everything about acorns from the welcoming garden and deck to the modern house tastefully decorated with everything you need to enjoy a fews days away from city life. The little extras were a bonus - the lovely deep bath with candles and smelly treats. Designer kitchen with all the mod cons stocked with treats to make for an enjoyable stay. We'll be back...and definitely in summer to enjoy the lovely deck and outdoor area.

The light airy decor is really appealing, all mod cons make for a no hassle break away. Love the gas cook top! Warm house, didnt even really need the heat pump much of the time, even in July. The separate studio accommodation is ideal for couples holidaying together. House was so clean, which is really important for feeling completely at ease. Martinborough, as always is a lovely place to spend a lazy few days. We have stayed at many properties there & will pick acorns again. Can't wait to utilize the outdoor area sometime. Love it
