This charming, two bedroom property, close to Masham, Ripon and Harrogate, offers comfortable and spacious accommodation for up to four people. This semi-detached, stone built farmhouse is situated on a working cattle and sheep farm in a peaceful hamlet, just four miles from the market town of Masham. Set in an elevated position and benefiting from spectacular views over Leighton Reservoir, this property has been renovated to a high standard and provides spacious, well-equipped accommodation with two bedrooms sleeping up to four people. Town: Situated in the lower reaches of Wensleydale alongside the River Ure is the picturesque Dales village of Masham. Set in gently rolling farmland, the town boasts a huge market square, which is host to a regular Wednesday and Saturday market. There are lots of walks available throughout the area, including a recently reopened 10-mile trail along the banks of the Ure, arguably one of the best of its kind in the country. The town boasts a good range of crafts, galleries, shops, restaurants and pubs though is perhaps best known as the home to the Black Sheep Brewery, now producing 11 million pints of beer a year! All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  I highly recommend Pott Hall Cottage. If you wish for peace and tranquility among some beautiful countryside this is the place for you. There was a warm welcome and the view of Leighton Reservoir from the garden was worth the journey alone! With many places of interest nearby we made an excellent choice.

  Great, well-appointed cottage, full of character and great location with views from the garden of a lake, hills and sheep. What more do you want from the Dales? Drive over the moor to nearby beautiful Nidderdale. Lovely time here - even found myself talking to the hens!

  I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. Set on a working farm with all the fascination that brings for children, the cottage is superbly well-equipped with all that a family might need for a fantastic stay.
  Just far enough from the madding crowd and close enough to local ameneties, it provides an ideal base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.
  The owners really have thought of everything - from a welcoming loaf a freshly baked bread to a cupboard packed with board games for those evening's in.
  Perfect!
