Character farmhouse of 4 brms with attached stable block of 3 brms. Can be rented seperately or together sleeping up to 16 persons in 7 bedrooms. The property was renovated in 2008 to a high standard with many of the features you would expect, open fire place, beamed ceilings, fantastic loft bedroom suite with roll-top bath and large farmhouse kitchen. The Stable Block downstairs has a double bedroom and ensuite suitable for limited mobility. Flat screen TV's in both units with Sky package, gas BBQ in the walled garden for shared use.

We have stayed in the main house a couple of times and we're in the process of planning our next stay! Michelle and Columb are excellent hosts and will do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. We celebrated Xmas in December with a group of friends and they even decorated the house for us when we told them why we were visiting. There's room enough for everyone as the house is quite big and very well furnished. Masham itself is a lovely place, with 2 breweries, lots of places to eat and drink and lots to do in the surrounding areas.

We booked both Morton House and the Stable Block for the weekend of our wedding. The two properties gave us the ability to sleep under separate roofs the night before the wedding, and then have the gorgeous loft room once we were married (also the perfect space to get ready for the wedding). Having both properties allowed us to accommodate our entire wedding party, allowing a relaxed evening the night before and then continued celebrations over the remainder of the weekend.
Michelle and Columb were the most wonderful hosts and made the weekend so special for us – we could not have asked for better. Everyone who stayed had a wonderful weekend, with a great location and fantastic property. Michelle and Columb had thought about every detail in order to make our weekend perfect.
We and our guests would not hesitate to book both properties again, and look forward to having the opportunity to relive our very special experience. -

I hired Morton House & Stable Block for part of my stag do and it proved a brilliant place to act as a base to explore this lovely town. Both breweries are very close as is the Market Square. Additionally the local Co-Op is like 30 seconds from the house, but not in view! Columb & Michelle the owners offer great local advice regarding activities & attractions. The photo's on their site are a fair reflection of the place and one of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, important for a group containing people with mobility issues. If I find myself in the need of a large house in Masham I know where I'll be heading...
