Lagos 36 forms a part of a fantastic group of five private and separate Villas, located on the top of the complex "Los Lagos", where spectacular and privileged views over the Golf Course , mountains or sea, must be mentioned.

The guests have access to 2 wonderful communal pools, which are shared only between these 5 Villas. Both pools are heated, free of charge, in winter months (November-April). One of the swimming pools offers you the sun until late afternoon. Both pools have been built on the top of the volcanic mountain and have absolutely stunning sea views.

      Nice Villa in a calm area

      The villa is nicely decorated and spacious. We had a good stay. You will need a car, as the area is not connected with public transport, however its location is a good hub to explore the island. If you play golf its a perfect arrangement as the golf court is just in front of the house. The pool is moderately heated allowing short swims also in winter. Suggestions for improvements would be: a bigger warm water tank (current one does not hold enough warm water for 6 people) and a nesspresso machin. Otherwise all good.

      Week of sun, swimming and relaxation

      Really enjoyed our time in Los Lagos 36. The apartment was spacious and immaculate - kitted out with all necessary conveniences. Of the group of villas 36 has the best views if sea and mountains, plus distant lights of Maspalomas at nights.

      The resort itself is quiet (though new development of luxury apartment on opposite hill means some noise during day) and most tranquil at night, when we enjoyed unwinding on terrace.

      Larger pool is heated during winter and never too busy. Plunge pool at top is cooler, but has better views. Both pools almost infinity style, but there are barriers.

      Nearly three year old loved it. Nine month old needed to be contained in travel cot/playpen as she's a mover and marble floors are not crawling baby friendly!

      Gran Canaria itself offers reliable winter sun, but lacks character.

      Definitely need a car as to reach the mini Spar and golfer's cafe on site is too much of a trek in the heat. The Sheraton itself is not very child friendly, but all you need is in the apartment.

      The welcome from Carlos was much appreciated as we made it in past 8pm, as was all correspondence with Marianka. Welcome pack also very substantial.

      All in all a great winter getaway.
