Nestling in a splendid natural setting between Sorrento and Massa Lubrense, Casale la Torre is a traditional farmhouse complex in the Sorrento Peninsula, ideal for those seeking a quiet holiday away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Casale la Torre is built on two floors, and measures around 300 m2. It is divided into three apartments that can host up tothirteen people. It has terraces with splendid views, a garden, a barbecue area and aswimming pool. Guests will have access to areserved parking areawithin the grounds, which you can reach from the apartments via a convenient flight of about 15 stone steps.

The apartments... offer fantastic views out across the sea and the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida, as well as theGulf of Naples.These three brand-new apartments, surrounded by citrus and olive trees, are located inMarciano, a delightful little village just 2 Km from Massa Lubrense, with splendid views of Capri, Ischia, Procida and the Gulf of Naples.

Casale la Torre, renovated entirely in line with the architecture of traditional farmhouses, has two floors, and the 3apartments(2 two-room apartments for 4 people each and one 3-room apartment for 5 people) have been designed and laid out in order to offer guests maximum quality and comfort. All theapartmentshave private outdoor areas and beautiful views of either the sea or the garden.

The area that hosts the garden and the swimming pool (11 m X 5 m, open from May to September) is undoubtedly the most attractive part of the holiday house complex, and visitors are sure to be immediately struck by the delightful views stretching out beyond the horizon. All you will see before you is the bright blue of the sea and the sky, and views of Capri, Ischia, Procida and the Gulf of Naples.

In the large, superbly kept garden, there is a splendid patio equipped with a large, characteristic barbecue, ideal for organising a convivial dinner out in the open in the warm summer evenings.

In this area you will find a wood-burning oven and a professionally equipped kitchen in which typical local dishes can be prepared with the genuine DOC-certified products of the Sorrento Peninsula. The staff ofCasale la Torre, whowill be pleased to organise lunches and dinners on request, share the philosophy of the owners, i.e. to create dishes able to bring out the very best in the wealth of delicious raw materials offered by theSorrento Peninsula, by preparing typical traditional local recipes.

Casale la Torre is situated in a quiet spot that enjoys the sun all day, along a stretch of coast that is part of the Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella, renowned for its beautiful landscape and the traces of its ancient history.

The villa is next to a little side road, closed to traffic, and faces the sea, where enchanting sunsets can be admired. Guests staying at Casale la Torre will need a car during their stay. Access to the house is along a country road.

The tasteful furnishings and the large swimming pool with its views right over the island of Capri make Casale la Torre the ideal place for an exclusive, restful stay.

The house is also ideally situated for guests wishing to gotrekking in the Sorrento Peninsula,withhiking routesavailable along a number ofpaths: to the Deserto(456 m), Mount S. Costanzo(497 m), from where there are breathtaking views,from Massa Lubrense to Termini(over 6 km of solitary road surrounded by Mediterranean maquis) and thebay of Ierantoin the heart of the Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella.

Il Verde is a bright, classy 70 m2 apartment suitable for five people, located on the ground floor of the building. Il Verde has three bedrooms, a private terrace with a sea view, a swimming pool and a shared garden.

The sitting room furnishings are bright and classy. In the living area you will find a kitchenette, with four gas rings, a fridge freezer, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, an Italian coffee maker and a toaster. The table seats six, and in the room there is also a satellite TV.

The sitting room leads on to the terrace, equipped with tables and chairs so you can spend some time outdoors having lunch or just admiring the view.

The sitting room leads through to the three bedrooms.

One bedroom has a double bed, a spacious wardrobe and a large window that looks onto the garden.

The second bedroom has two single beds, a spacious wardrobe and a large window that looks onto the garden.

The third bedroom, suitable for a child or teenager, has a single bed and no window.

The bathroom, which leads off the sitting room, has a washbasin, toilet, bidet, enclosed shower and hairdryer.Read more

  Picturesque setting, perfect for outdoor living

  Il Verde is built on the hillside with magnificent poolside views over the bay of Naples, and is set in delightful gardens and BBQ area. It is a perfect retreat from the traffic chaos of the amalfi coast - tranquil and picturesque.
  The apartment itself has a small and quite dark living space comprising a just adequate kitchen (with an inadequate dishwasher), dining table and 2-seater settee. The beds were quite firm and would benefit from extra pillows. The outdoor dining terrace is private, surrounded by hedges of rosemary and there is a large communal BBQ area in addition.
  The apartment can feel quite cold and damp in cooler temperatures, so would only really recommend this for the summer months.
  The pool is huge and is shared between 3 apartments, but has no shade and, while we were there, no umbrellas.
  Feeling Italy were very welcoming on arrival but when we asked for a coffee pot that could serve more than 1 person, we were told that nothing bigger was available - we found a large pot at a local shop and left it for future guests. Enjoy.

  We would like to clarify something about your remarks:
  
  - Dishwasher: we never had problem and/or complain about this
  
  - Extra pillows: you coulh have asked for these, we have cleaning lady coming every 2 days at the property, she could have provided you some pillows
  
  - Pool umbrellas: The pool area is normally open from May, as stated i nthe description. This year, we' have anticipated the opening in April, but it was not due. Umbrellas have been added in May. Guests have plenty of shade in the pool opening season (May . October)
  
  - Coffe pot: this is adequate to the number of guest the apartment can host, as well as the rest of the furnitures in the apartment. The coffe pot you had is intended to prepare coffe (espresso) for 4 people.

  A group of 4 of us spent the last week of September at this wonderful villa set in the beautiful hillside hamlets of Masse Lubrense. Though it definitely requires a car to get to and fro, the place and it's amazing pool with vistas over the Naples Penninsula and Capri, is a welcome retreat after a day exploring the amalfi Coast and Sorrento Penninsula. We wouldn't hesitate to rent this villa again, or recommend it to friends. Our contacts at Feeling Italy were very helpful, especially on our day of arrival. After easily getting lost in the hillside villages, they escorted us to the villa. As for feedback, having a ready supply of toilet paper, dish soap, dish clothes and some basic kitchen cooking items such as salt and pepper, oils etc. would have been helpful. Also, the beds are very firm and extra pillows would have helped. Having these essentials and comforts would have definitely earned a 5 star rating. Also, due to stairs and narrow doorways, this is not an accessible property for wheelchair users or people with mobility issues. Thank you to alberto, the groundskeeper, for maintaining such a beautiful space!

  We had a fabulous time staying in II Verde. It was exactly as described in the advert. The pool was superb, if a little cold - we stayed at the end of May, the views were awesome and the accommodation and grounds perfect. There is so much to see and do in this area of Italy that you will need at least two weeks to see it all, if not more. We would definitely recommend this accommodation. The Feeling Italy staff were very helpful and friendly. Thank you for everything and hope to see you again some day :)

  A beautiful and well cared-for property in the Naples area. We traveled with three children and all thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the outside grill, and the freedom to wander. You can't do that in a hotel!
  
  Staff was extremely helpful with recommendations, and the property is amazingly well maintained. Very clean!
  
  We would absolutely go back, and would recommend this to anyone.

  Endroit de rêve comme point d'ancrage sur la côte amalfitaine. Extérieurs très soignés: très beau jardin, grande et belle piscine avec vue imprenable sur Capri. Très calme. Appartement spacieux, confortable et très propre, avec petite terrasse privée donnant sur le Vésuve. Dommage que pour le prix il n'y ait à disposition aucun aliment de base (sel, huile...). Il faudrait aussi changer le mini sofa du salon, particulièrement inconfortable, et racheter une poêle "décente"...
  Hormis ces détails, une adresse très recommandable!

  Superb location with superb views on the sea, Capri and Vesuvio. Beautiful garden well maintained. Appartments are nice and cosy. Good service by the local gardener and cleaning lady. Good beds.
  Fantastic BBQ facilities: try the bistecca fiorentina.
  Super swimming pool
  Some minor points but not crucial:
  - some extra pool-chairs would be a plus
  - some trouble with ants
  - kitchens could use some modernisation and equipment
  - small shower if your a bit bigger
  - dishwashers are below quality (have no added value)
  - a real oven in each appartment would be a plus
  - terrace furniture (eating table and banks) and terrace-floor needs renewal
  - Satellite TV offer below standard but who cares if you are living outside
  
  If those minor issues could be solved, this would be a real 5-star location

  Absolutely Fantastic

  We stayed at one of the apartments with our 3 children aged 10,12 and 14. Check in was absolutely smooth, we hired a car (make sure it is a small one) at Naples airport, we had a GPS but even if you don't the instructions provided by the owners were easy to follow. We arrived on a Saturday night and were met in town by a smiling Chris who showed us the way to the apartment. We arrived to see the beautiful sunset, (just as you see in the photographs for the apartment). Chris helped us unload, showed us around the apartment and its gardens and pool (there are even laundry facilities). We then followed him back into town where he showed us a wonderful restaurant(www.ristorantelostuzzichino.it) with a great outdoor terrace.
  The apartment is a fantastic base from which to explore. During our stay we drove to Sorrento (20 minutes) from where we took the boat to Capri. Pompeii, Amalfi and Positano are all within easy reach and if you want a beach, Marina del Cantone is only 30 minutes away.
  The apartment was very clean and was even cleaned halfway through the week, the gardener/pool man was there every day. The only thing our apartment lacked was a comfortable sofa and a cheese grater, so in the scheme of things not much.
  The highlight for all of us though was the wonderful pool, our children would have stayed in it every day if they could, the views over the sea to Capri, Naples and Vesuvius, were absolutely spectacular. We plan to return very soon.

  We stayed for one week in casa il verde with two adults and three children. We had a very warm welcome by Pierro, who showed us around and was always there to help us, even when there was no hot water and the garage door would not open. The view is magnificient and the garden fantastic, with pool and lemon trees. There are a lot of things to do in the area, f.e. punta camponella, Sorrento, Pompei, Vesuvius etc etc. We hope to come back soon!!!
