This is the perfect place! The garden is beautiful, the pool perfect and the views over Capri Island and the gulf of Napoli unbeatable. This is the place you want to rent if you want to avoid the crowds of the peninsula and get a real feeling of Italy. Great for families too.

Hod HaSharon, IsraelWonderful villa in Sorrento Peninsula
Left on 04/16/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Service: extremely efficient; Chris was always ready to help and able to solve all problems (we were very much impressed by immediate settling a problem with gas supply on Easter Sunday!).
Home: spacey, with really fantstic views, private safe parking, beatiful garden, grill, etc.
Amenities: everything one needs.
Location: quiet; a little isolated (car is a must); 10 minutes drive to S.Agata or Massa Lubrnse for nearest shops; to reach highway, one has a choice between a little shorter and flatter drive through Sorrento (traffic jams there are a problem) and a little longer mountain road via S.Agata (all in all faster, if there is no mist); in either case, count 50-70 minutes drive to the exit to a1.
Liked best: wonderful views from the balcony; relatively easy access to all places of interest in the region; service.
Liked least: weather (we were unlucky to have a rainy period in March; take into account that in such a case one has to pay some extras for heating and overcome the situation when WiFi works only in the pool area - of course, these problems are meaningless if the weather is better).Response from Feeling Italy - 04/19/2013

We had a great time at the Primula appartement. We were there with our 2,5 years old daughter in May.
The appartement is on the first floor with a private terrace, which is great with a young child.
The garden is very nice, and was full of flowers when we were there.
The pool is great also, very clean (cleaned every day) with a view on Capri that is as beautiful as it is on the pictures on the web site.
The apartment itself is very comfortable and nice.
It is necessary to have a car to go around, but it is easy to park (not free though) in Sorrento and take the boat or a train to visit the area.

Left on 08/24/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We stayed in this apartment for a week in august with our 11 week old baby. There were stairs at the entrance, but we managed! The views are absolutely amazing! The apartment is finished beautifully and is well equipped. We requested a kettle and there was one waiting on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed using the pool every day and there were plenty of sun loungers and parasols, even when other guests were there. The toilets by the pool were always clean.
One big negative was the lack of air conditioning. There were 2 fans in the apartment, and I'm aware it was august, but the heat was unbearable at times. I was surprised, as for the cost of the apartment, and the standard to which it's been decorated and equipped, I would have expected air conditioning.
Having a hire car is necessary. We drove to Sorrento each evening to eat out (only took about 15mins). The slope leading up to the apartments off of the road is very steep and our little diesel hire car struggled initially, to the point we started sliding backwards! My husband found that riding the clutch helped - and getting a good run up! Maybe consider this when choosing your hire car!
Also, there was no water or refreshments as a welcome when we arrived - something which we have been used to with other rentals. We were asked in an email if there was anything we needed, prior to our arrival, but I felt this implied a service you paid for. We arrived later than expected (9.30pm) after a difficult journey to find all local shops shut, and we had no water or food at all and we hadn't eaten since lunch. Not great in extreme heat with a young baby.
However, I have still given the apartment 4 stars, as it really was stunning. We enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. During a slightly cooler time of year, it would have been perfectly comfortable. Perhaps air conditioning could be considered - and a welcome pack of basics would have improved the otherwise excellent service from Feeling Italy. -

The good - fantastic picturesque location. Beautiful safe gardens. Great swimming pool with perhaps the best views to be had anywhere. Pool & grounds immaculately clean & well maintained. The staff were helpful especially the hard working guy who maintained the grounds who helped us out when the electronic gate fob stopped working.
The Ok- The apartment itself was fine & the bedrooms were comfortable & spacious. however due to the direction the apartment faces & the lack of air conditioning it became unbearably hot both on the private terrace & in the conservatory until well after the sun dropped below the horizon. spectacular sunsets from the terrace though. The not so good - This is the 5th time in 5 years(4 in Italy) that we have rented holiday villas & it is the first time that we have arrived to find the shelves completely empty. previous experience is that you will usually find items like -salt & pepper, olive oil etc. there wasn't even a toilet roll here. For fairness I will say that Feeling Italy sent me an email offering a welcome package the day before we were due to arrive at the property but as we were already in Italy (which they knew as they had arranged my airport transfer) I didn't see that until we had arrived home. In addition the cutlery and crockery were also not of a standard I would have expected given the price of this rental. The wider location is good. There is a small shop in nearby village S.Maria which is handy & a half decent supermarket in Sant'Agata Sui Dui Golfi a few miles on from there. I would recommend the nearby ristorante La Torre for dinner & we really liked Bar Orlando (the smoking cat cafe we called it, you'll understand if you go)in Sant'Agata for its lunchtime sandwiches and cappucino. The owner is really friendly and welcoming. The free ice cream was also a nice touch. There are good options for boat tours of Capri & the amalfi cost in Marina Del Cantone which is about 5 miles or so from the apartment.

We stayed for 2 weeks, nice apartment, womderful views. The only thing that really desturbed us, was the fact, that the owners family arranged a big party on site. A lot of guests, a lot of noise and a lot of trouble. In the first week of our stay it was not possible to relax. Nobody told us beforehand what was happening and we were really desturbed.
