Chez Pie is a 150 m2 property that can host up to eight people, with a garden, olive grove and several terraces offering fabulous views, such as the sea, the Galli Islands, the Amalfi Coast and the Bay of Nerano.
You will find private parking beside the house, as well as other spaces to leave cars in an enclosed area just 100 metres or so from the property. The house is located 150 metres from the little hamlet of Torca, 1 km outside Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, where you will find a restaurant and a number of characteristic little food shops.
Villa Chez Pie has three double bedrooms, a room with two single beds, another smaller room... with bunk beds and a double sofa bed in a wide living room. There are also three bathrooms with a shower, a sitting room with sofas, armchairs and a table for meals, a kitchen and plenty of space outside.
The stop for SITA bus services to Sorrento is 150 metres from Villa Chez Pie. The SITA bus network links all the towns along the coast, offering convenient access to the archaeological sites of Pompei, Ercolano, Paestum and the Royal Palace of Caserta.
Villa Chez Pie lies in a quiet, sunny position, on a stretch of coastline that is part of the Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella, renowned for its beautiful landscape and the traces of its ancient history.
The villa is located next to a sunny little side road, closed to traffic, and looks out onto the sea, just 400 metres or so away as the crow flies. This trekking path, marked on the map, starts out just a few metres from the villa. Some 600 or so steps will take you down to the little beach of Fiordo di Crapolla, where you will find a crystal-clear sea, a small landing stage for rowing boats, and a few little fishermen's houses clustered around a small church.
This terrace is without doubt the most enchanting part of the holiday house, offering marvellous views out over a wonderful landscape stretching beyond the horizon. All you will see before you is the bright blue sea and the cloudless sky, as you look out towards the Amalfi Coast and the Cilento coast. On a clear day you can even see the Sorrento Peninsula.
From the garden, a stone staircase also leads down to an area with a brick barbecue and a wood-burning oven for whipping up a pizza.
This comfortable, superbly equipped area is ideal for organising dinners and for cooking out in the open. One of the owner's suggestions is that you really mustn't pass up on the chance to organise a pizza dinner or a barbecue outside, perhaps picking some fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables (when available) from the garden in front of the house.
Moreover, you will be able to enjoy the quite of Villa Chez Pie at the swimming pool area with sun beds.
is bright and spacious, with large windows, so even indoors you can enjoy splendid sea views.
It is tastefully and cosily furnished with sofas and armchairs, a lovely fireplace and an area for meals with a table and chairs. You will also find satellite TV, a DVD player, stereo and internet connection.
The sitting room leads onto the traditional, attractive masonry kitchen, which is fully equipped with five cooking rings, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a range of small household appliances.
The kitchen leads straight out through a French door onto the terrace, where you can admire the little garden in front of the house through a large window.
From the sitting room, a little corridor will take you through to the sleeping area, where you will find two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower.
In one of the rooms is a double bed, TV and a large window that looks out onto the terrace. In the other, considerably smaller room, you'll find bunk beds and a French door that leads onto the terrace.
A staircase with around 15 steps will take you up to the first floor, where you'll find two bedrooms and a bathroom.
One of the bedrooms is equipped with two single beds, a wardrobe and a large window with a view out onto the greenery and, partially, the sea. In this room you'll also find a built-in wardrobe, a small chest of drawers and a desk.
The other room has a double bed and spectacular sea views through the three large windows.
On the same floor as the bedrooms is a second large terrace with a sea view, also equipped with a deck chair, and is perfect for sunbathing. An outside staircase leads up to the roof terrace of the villa, from where you can admire a fabulous 360-degree view of the sea and the coast.
on the ground floor has an enclosed shower, bidet, toilet and a small window.
The bathroom on the first floor has a shower with a shower curtain, a toilet and a small window with an enchanting view.
Villa Chez Pie on downstair, at garden level (swimming and BBQ area), where you can find a wide and well equiped Kitchen, a living area with a double sofa bed, a double bedroom, a wide bathroom with shower and a smal room with washing machine and all you need for the cleaning of the villa.Read more

The size, layout of the place was exactly as advertised and the customer service was excellent. However, we had problems reaching the gentleman who managed the house because we did not know how to dial his phone number properly, nor had we received instructions on the matter.
The beds were not comfortable, the pillows flat and the bed linen in poor repair and not completely clean. We were provided with a quarter roll of toilet paper in each of the three washrooms for a period of seven days and a group of nine people.
We were bitten by bugs when we slept. Because there was no air conditioning, the shutters were closed and windows left open in order to let as much air in as possible. This meant that we could hear the numerous wild dogs of the area howl and bark all night.
The pool was nice until it became cloudy. Again, because we did not know how to reach the manager, we could not resolve the issue.
The internet access only worked in the living room and the terrace. Parking was tight but workable.
There were ants everywhere. They crawled out of the walls and got into the food. We had to put everything in the fridge. Sorting the garbage was tricky. They are very strict about how to sort the garbage and what sort of bag to use to sort the garbage. With ants infesting all the garbage (and they bit), the process was painful in every sense of the word.
When the maid came by, she gathered all the towels and dumped them in the bidet.
However we did enjoy the view, the garden full of fresh veggies, the outdoor kitchen as well as stores in the vicinity (we had to drive to get there though). Once we bought fans to air the rooms further, some of the problems were solved: we no longer could hear the dogs and it was cooler at night so we slept a little better.
The bunk bed isn't very safe for little people. Our five year old repeatedly fell out of the top bunk of the bed. The bars are spaced way too far apart for safety.

Chez Pie was even better than we expected! The view is stunning and the villa was very comfortable and clean. Just a 10 min walk to nearest stores that had the basics, fresh veggies, butcher and most important "vino"! Piero and Sergio were great and quick to respond to questions or any needs we had. Our group booked their van and driver as well as their boat tour and we were very pleased with both excursions.
The only suggestion I would have is a few spices to be stocked in the kitchen as we had to purchase salt/pepper.
Overall we would come back in a heartbeat!
The best place to stay on amalfi Coast!

We were 2 families, total of 7 people, rented this villa in april, 2012. The timing was not great due to the weather, yet it was best vacation ever! The villa is gorgeous, very well maintained and leaves absolutely nothing more to wish for! The beds are very comfortable, the linens are better than I am sure most people have at home. Everything there should be graded as 6 (or whatever is the maximum number of stars) stars resort. I am normally a very criticizing person, but have nothing this time! :-)
We were mostly dealing with Chris who went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as it could possibly be. Anything you need is delivered to you the minute you hang up the phone. Chris was always eager to help, explain, and arrange anything we asked for. He recommended a restaurant right in the village - it is a family owned place and is wonderful! We ended up spending 3 out of our 5 nights there. Ask for mama's limoncello - never tried anything even remotely close to that one! Trip to Capri was also arranged by Chris and went absolutely smoothly.
Highly recommended property!

What a stunning villa and location!!! Wow! My extended family and I had the most fabulous week! Beautiful location, close to a lovely little town full of local amenities, close to Sorrento and Positano. We cannot wait to return!
If I had to make any suggestions re: potential improvements, I would say that air conditioning would make the villa much more comfortable. The swimming pool could also benefit from heating, as although we went in august and it was very hot, the pool sits largely in the shade so it tends to be a bit cooler. It is lovely though but for the younger kids, a bit too cold.
Overall, an exceptional villa with the most beautiful views. We would return tomorrow...
